NADIA
I stare at Ezra as he lays beside me- one arm perfectly wrapped around me. We've been up awhile, never moving from this position. "Stop staring at me." He mumbles.
A laugh leaves my body before I climb into his lap. I don't think we've ever been close like this. "Are you trying to seduce me?"
"Do you want me to seduce you?" I tilt my head.
"Please." He smirks. I shake my head, leaning down to kiss him. "Patience is a virtue." I speak as I pull away. "Besides, we have things to discuss."
Ezra's hands find their way to my thigh, moving up and down. "Let's talk then." His eyes never leave mine, talking seems so boring now.
I clear my throat, "The pictures of us, kissing." I breathlessly say. I watch his hand- sinfully hoping that it gets higher and eases my frustration.
"What about them?" His hands move painfully slow. "W-What do we do? I stutter when his finger brushes over the spot where I need him most. Ezra smiles seeing the effect he has on me.
"Just touch me." I plead. "Patience is a virtue, Nadia." He uses my words. I roll my eyes, leaning down to kiss him.
I've always been in control when it comes to anything sexual. I don't plan to ever lose that, my hands move down Ezra's chest. Our lips continuing to move in sync- the kiss is rough and fast.
Ezra doesn't hesitate to pull me closer against him, if it was possible. I moan as he bites my bottom lip, his growing erection hitting my leg.
I figured Ezra was big but not that big. The throbbing in my core intensifies when he starts to rub me through my shorts.
A knock at the door causes me to pull away. "Ignore it." Ezra pulls me back down to him, not stopping his movements.
"Ezra." I say, but it comes out as a moan. The knocking at the door turns into banging. Finally his movements stop allowing me to breathe.
"I'm going to kill them." Ezra gets up. He barely touched me yet, that was the best thing I've felt in so long. The door slamming causes me to sit up.
"Kai wants us downstairs." Ezra throws a shirt over his head. I stare at him, specifically the dent in his shorts. "Can they wait like five minutes?"
Ezra smirks, "Come here." My legs lead me to him, he places a kiss to my lips before gripping my hips. His hands start to tangle with the hemline of my shorts.
"Hurry up." Issac bangs on the door. I roll my eyes moving away, "I can be quick." Ezra grabs my hand. "You were being slow."
"I thought you were patient." Ezra shrugs. "I'll just get right to it next time." Ezra rolls his eyes. I laugh pushing him away from me.
"What makes you think there will be a next time?" I look at him. "You're still waiting for me to properly touch you." He states.
I huff, walking ahead of him. "It's about time." Iris states as we walk into the kitchen. I give her a smile as I take a seat.
"Hi Maeve." I greet. Maeve gives me a bright smile, "Nadia." She responds. I give Isaac our usual nod, waving to Kai.
"What do you want?" Ezra wraps his arm around my seat.
Iris rolls her eyes, "Well, we're getting married." Iris shows the ring on her finger. "Why?" Ezra questions.
I elbow Ezra, shaking my head. "He means congratulations." I correct. "Where'd he even propose? The fucking forest?" Ezra grumbles.
"Seriously, did you propose in the driveway?" Issac joins in. "Stop it." Maeve whispers to him. "At least I proposed." Kai finally speaks.
"So if you guys are done shitting on my proposal, I would like more than one congratulations." Kai adds. Ezra rolls his eyes standing from his chair.
"συγχαρητήρια αδερφέ." He pats his back. Kai smiles at Ezra, "χαίρομαι για εσάς παιδιά." Issac speaks after a moment.
translation: congrats brother & happy for you guys
I smile at the three's interaction, as do Iris and Maeve. "Do you guys ever think about it?" Iris looks at me. I raise an eyebrow. "You know, a wedding." She elaborates.
Several thoughts run through my head, yet I can't put any of them into words. I care about Ezra, we're technically already married- a white dress isn't needed.
But I can't say the thoughts never crossed my mind, so that's how I answer- "It's crossed my mind."
"But?" Maeve wonders. "But a good three months doesn't equal forever." I shrug. As bad as it sounds, it's realistic.
I'd love to plan my life around these three months, around Ezra. But that isn't how this works, I'm still in danger and Ezra still lives in Greece.
"Excuse me." I leave the table. I never thought about it like that, with all the promises I made Ezra- I never needed to think about it like that.
I didn't need to think about how we may not always be like this. Along the way, I somehow forgot that I'm still eighteen. I forgot that my father may succeed in whatever his plan is.
"Nadia." Ezra calls out. I turn to look at him, he's the same guy who saved my life. The same guy who I can't picture being without.
"I'm doubting us." I admit. "Then stop it." He replies.
"We won't always be like this." I ignore his comment. "Distance won't change the way I feel about you." He states.
"You're right though, we won't always be like this." Ezra says. I wait for him to go on, "There will be a time where we aren't hiding in Australia. A time where I'll be able to give you the life you deserve. A time where we'll always wake up beside each other. We won't have to look over our shoulders anymore."
My heart flutters at his words, "A lot of marriages end in divorce." I remind him. "I don't believe in those." Ezra speaks.
"They're very real, Ezra." I remind. "Not to me, we're not divorcing." He states. Ezra not believing in divorces, took away some of my doubt.
He's not going anywhere, I wrap my arms around him. "Don't doubt us, Nadia." Ezra mumbles. Instead of responding, I stay in his embrace.
We stay like this and nothing has ever felt more right.
