NADIA
"Why are we doing this again?" I question, stepping into a dress. "Because it may be the last time before I go to prison." I glare at Ezra. "Don't say that."
With the trial tomorrow, Ezra insisted on giving me a proper date. I reminded him that I'd be fine staying in bed with him but, he's a hard man to persuade.
"Relax, πανεμορφη." Ezra speaks as he approaches me, his arms wrapping around my waist. "We'll be okay." He places multiple kisses to my neck.

"You look perfect in this dress." Ezra's eyes roam my body, "I can't wait to take it off you." He whispers in my ear. I laugh, "Skip dinner and do it now." I try one more time to back out of this dinner.
"I don't like dessert before dinner." Ezra says. I laugh again, remembering just how light I feel with Ezra. The same feeling I had in Australia. The amount of comfort he brings into my life, I never want to lose it.
"Are you scared?" I wonder. His smile falls then returns again, "I'm scared we'll miss our reservation." I roll my eyes. "Fine." I let out an aspirated sigh before giving myself one more look in the mirror.
The white dress that fits me like a glove stops right before my heels. My hair is left in its natural state, falling just past my shoulders. "You still look perfect, come on." Ezra rushes.
"You know I hate being rushed." I fake pout while he opens my room door. Ezra pecks my lips before shaking his head at me.
I carefully walk down the stairs with Ezra close behind, "My pretty baby." I pick up Misha in my arms. "She's getting so big." I turn to face Ezra. I raise my eyebrow as Ezra just smiles at me.
"You've been smiling at me all day, should I be scared?" I set Misha back on the floor. Ezra chuckles, "I'm content, Nadia." He says before grabbing my hand leading me out the front door.
"Thank you." I peck his lips after he opens the door for me. "So, where are you taking me?" I ask once he gets in the car. "It's a surprise."
I stare at the man beside me as he starts to drive off. When I found out about the marriage, I never thought I'd be here. I never could've imagined that I'd become so worried for his freedom.

"We're here." Ezra announces to me. I grab his hand after he closes the door behind me. "You like it?" He asks. "I love it." I smile, staring at the restaurant in front of us.
"Aleksi was trying to take Gianna here for the longest, how'd you get a reservation?" I question. "Kai knew a guy." Ezra shrugs as if it's no big deal.
"Thank you." I say, "The night hasn't even started yet." Ezra speaks leading us into the restaurant. I look around while we walk to our seat, there isn't too many people in here. The people who are in here are very well dressed- they're either wealthy or well known.
"Спасибо." I say after being handed the menu. "What are you getting, baby?" Ezra wonders. I shake my head, "Talk to me."

Ezra raises an eyebrow, confused at my statement. I grab his hands from across the table, placing them in mine. "I know you're worried about tomorrow."
