My eyes are focused on the television as I lay on Gianna's chest. Yesterday, I started a journey to honesty. It's not like I repeatedly lied to them, I just left out some important things.

"People on TV are so stupid." I mumble. Gianna laughs, "It's a cartoon, it's meant to be stupid." My head shakes.

"Aleksi and I broke up."

I immediately sit up, "When, Why?" I wonder. Gianna sits up as well, "A week ago, and it felt like I didn't know him anymore. There just wasn't any trust left between us."

"You guys were so happy and in love." I remind. She nods, "True but, at some point in the relationship I lost myself. No amount of happiness is worth that."

"How long were you guys even together?" I ask. "Four years." Gianna sighs. "You deserve a great, long lasting love more than anyone, G. One that doesn't require you losing you, I'm really sorry it wasn't this one." I apologize.

"But are you sure you're okay? Four years is a long time." I question. Another sighs leaves Gianna's body, "I- Yeah, I will be."

"It's just hard you know, he was like a part of me and now he isn't." She shrugs. I hug my best friend, "I love you Gigi." We pull away.

Gianna gives me a soft smile, "What about you and Ezra?" She wonders. "He makes me feel safe." I admit. Gianna's smile grows. "You deserve that, and more."

"He protects me, and wouldn't let anyone hurt me." I look down at my hands, thinking about how I feel about him. Ezra might just be the best thing that has ever happened to me.

"Are you in love?" She wonders. I quickly shake my head, "No- I- we no." I stammer over my words. Gianna laughs.

"It's okay to fall, Nadia. You just have to let yourself."

I let out a breath, "Snacks, we need snacks." I get up. Gianna shakes her head, "Get me a water." She shouts."Yes, captain."

I stuff a bag of chips in my arms, attempting to grab a water. "Oh, hey." I turn around, facing Aleksi. "What's happening?" He motions to the food in my hands.

"Catching up with Gianna. Are these expired?" I hold up a box of cookies. His face changes at the mention of Gianna, "I'm sorry."

"So you know?" He runs a hand over his face. "She told me, yeah." I set the food down. "I fucked up, Nadia."

I stare at him waiting for him to go on, "I lied and I cheated I- What the fuck?" I cut him off. "You cheated on Gianna?" I scoff.

"What is wrong with you? You're so stupid, she stayed with you through everything and then what? Some bitch came along? Gianna spoke about you so highly- Nadia." I stop as he interrupts me.

"You said she told you." Aleksi sighs. "The good parts, Alek. She told me the good parts." I move away from him. "I was on snack duty so, I gotta go."

I quickly grab the food, walking out of the kitchen. "Took you long enough. Water please." Gianna sits up. I throw her the water.
