Dana got ready the following day and made her way to RevTech. Her dad hadn't called her after he missed the lunch they were supposed to have. She was always the one to reschedule and he was the one to miss them all. She stepped off the elevator and walked down the hall towards her dad's office. She paused at Carly's desk.

"Hey."

Carly looked up and frowned.
"Dana hey." She said. "I am so sorry, your dad left a while ago, I was supposed to call and tell you but it slipped my mind since I forgot to add you to his schedule yesterday."

"It's ok." She said. "I'll just wait for him."

"He might be a long while."

"That's fine." She smiled before she stepped away from Carly's desk and made her way down the empty hallways with meetings rooms on either side. Just as she walked past one, she heard voices inside and frowned.

Who was allowed to use her dad's meeting room when he wasn't around?

Dana opened the door as quietly as she could and peeped inside but once she caught sight of the people inside, she knew she wasn't as quiet as she thought she was.

"I'm so sorry Sebastian." She frowned.

Sebastian smiled.
"It's ok Dana, we're done here anyway." He turned to Alex. "I'll go get the contract."

Dana smiled at Sebastian on his way out and then turned to Alex.
"You must be Alexander Guzman."

Alex got up as she made her way inside the meeting room.
"I am. I'm sorry you have me at a disadvantage."

"Dana Reed-Young." She shook his hand.

"Reed. Young." Alex said. "Those are very random names."

Dana laughed.
"They are."

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you Ms. Reed-Young."

"Ooh please call me Dana." She said. "Afterall I know you by 'Alex of Ground Upp'."

Alex frowned.

"My friend designed your software, she made me a test subject for Ground Upp."

"Ground Up." Alex said.

"Two P's." Dana nodded.

"Ground Upp as in 'this' Ground Upp." Alex pointed to the prototype of Sebastian's app playing on the screen."

Dana looked at the app on the screen and nodded.
"Yea. I actually have it on my phone." Dana took out her phone and showed him. "Kaylie was so excited when she asked me to test it out."

Alex nodded.
"Dana, if you know about this then you also know Kaylie and Sebastian were put against each other."

"I do, which is the reason I'm wondering why Sebastian was in here presenting the app instead of Kaylie."

Alex frowned.
"Have you spoken to Kaylie since you saw her last?"

Dana was worried now and the way Alex used Kaylie's name didn't go unnoticed.
"I haven't, I expected her to call me and tell me the good news."

"I haven't seen her either."

Alex and Dana stared at each other, both knowing something was not right.

Kaylie sat in her cubicle staring at the prototype of Ground Upp playing on her screen, her hand hovering over the 'delete' button. Her head snapped up when Sebastian walked by her and into the HOD's office in front of her cubicle. She watched him through the glass walls as he searched through his desk for a file. He frowned and called his new assistant – Lana and asked her something. She walked to his desk and pulled out a file then handed it to him. Sebastian made his way out of his office and his gaze caught hers, he held it for a moment before he walked past her and disappeared from view.
