Taehyun was walking around the house nervously. It's been hours since his father left to look for Yeosang who seemed to disappear in the middle of the day. He's never done anything like that before, he always told them if he had to go somewhere and never stayed out after sunset. To say they were worried was an understatement.
'Nothing?' Taehyun asked as the baker entered the shop. He shook his head.
'I was kinda hoping he came back while I was away' he admitted. 'The last time they saw him was when the unicorn appeared in the afternoon. Mr Yang's son said he bought some bread from him and wanted to show him the unicorn, but he disappeared in the meantime. Look, even the sun went down by now. I'm afraid something bad happened.'
'Let me go with you' Tae grabbed his jacket and followed his dad out of the house.

It's been hours, but Yeosang, the unicorn and the troll still haven't found the Book of Forest Lore. Yeosang was currently holding the lower part of a tall book tower, so it won't fall down, while Beomgyu was standing on top of it, looking at the top shelf. The whole thing was dangerously unstable, but it seemed like Beomgyu knew what he was doing. There were at least three times when Yeosang was pretty sure that the books are going to fall and he was getting ready to catch the tiny troll, but somehow Beomgyu always managed to gain his balance back.
Suddenly they heard a thud which made both of them look back above their shoulders and laugh.
'Ughhh Gyuu, your stupid magic wands again! Why'd you keep them here anyways?'
Mingi stood next to a vase which had different colored and shaped magic wands in it, meanwhile there were yellow flowers growing out of his head.
'I told you not to touch them the first four times~' sang Beomgyu. Mingi shook his head, but it looked like the flowers were literally growing out of his head. He angrily walked towards a big mirror to take a look at himself, but as he reached it, he screamed out loud and rushed away. Yeosang thought it was obviously because of the flowers.
'Oh, c'mon, it's not that bad. Now you have your own flower field!'
'Legs! Arms! Oh my god!' Mingi decided to hide under a table from the scary thing he saw in the mirror. Too bad the table was too small for him to fit under.
'What was it, Mingi?' Yeosang looked concerned. Beomgyu followed the other two's gazes.
'Oh, that's a magic mirror. Sometimes it pranks the person who looks at it. Sorry about that.'
Mingi slowly walked back to the mirror with Yeosang following him. As Mingi stood in front of the mirror, Yeosang gasped. Next to his mirrored reflection stood not a horse, but an actual person. He was about 10 cm taller than Yeosang, had sharp eyes and bright red hair. And of couse a yellow flower crown, as he still couldn't get rid of the flowers.
'Whoa' gasped Yeosang. 'What a handsome young man you are, Mingi' he patted the unicorn's head. Mirror-Yeosang patted mirror-Mingi's head too. It looked kinda weird considering mirror-Mingi was much taller.
'Duh, thank god I'm a unicorn. I look better this way.' Mingi raised his head, then shook it again. 'Uhh, these flowers!'
The flowers didn't disappear, but his mirrored self turned back into a unicorn.
'Yeosang!' gasped Beomgyu. Yeosang turned around, not knowing whether to expect the troll falling down from the top shelf together with the book tower, or him finally finding the book they were looking for, or both, but neither happened. Beomgyu just stared at him and he felt himself floating again. He looked out of the small window. It was dawning.
'Oh no' he sighed as he turned back to the mirror. He was surrounded by the familiar purple light of Seonghwa's magic. When he was put back on the ground, from the mirror his swan self was looking back at him. He suddenly felt the urge to cry.
'Is this Rothbart's spell, too?' asked Beomgyu while holding onto the top shelf so he wouldn't fall. Yeosang nodded, still looking at his reflection.
'Seonghwa helped him so he can be himself during the night, just like the others. But he has to go back home, that's why it's so urgent for us to find the book' explained Mingi. Beomgyu picked up a magic wand out of thin air and aimed it at the unicorn. The flowers disappeared again. Yeosang took one last glance at his reflection in the mirror and took a deep breath. Don't cry. You are stronger than you think, he thought to himself. Then he turned back to his friends.
'We've got to find that book.'

A/N 2.0: This was kind of a filler chapter. The magic mirror wasn't part of the original story, I just really wanted Mingi to appear as a human in the book. He looks just like in the picture above. Hope you liked it ^^
Also, if you are wondering, Beomgyu (and the other members of TXT) has the looks he had in the Blue Hour MV, at least that's how I imagined him in this story :)
