Vida's POV Cont. ******

"What do we do Red?"

"We have to split up like when we play tag. They are on pure crazed instinct. We have to be smarter." reasoned Red.

I shift into my human form as fast as possible and say, "As soon as I'm back in my fur we split up and y'all hide." shifting back as fast as I could while Nia and Chief watched my back. Once shifted I howl as loud as I can signaling my location. Then we all 3 make made dashes in 3 different directions.
Chief maybe an older wolf but he is very smart and fast. He lived most of his life in the wild.
Nia is faster than all of us. With her slender body she's faster on her feet than werewolves. She's also harder to see in the woods with the color of her fur blending in with her surroundings.
I took off following his scent. Red was at the surface with me tracking Beau. I was not going to stop until I had beau back safe......

Ares POV*****

2 Hours earlier.....

I sit at my desk trying to concentrate 'New Pack Anisate.' on the mountain of paperwork that has to be completed today. I really do not like paperwork but most of my workload today is for my Luna, My Luna. I do like the sound of that. Thanks to her my work isn't so tedious.

I have decided to make her a pack member next week. Jax and I agree she needs to see how a pack works and be a part of that before the Luna ceremony. We will tell her tonight at dinner.

Jax and I are aware of the cold treatment my pack has been giving her, but they would not dare harm her. They all know my abilities in both forms. They know they would lose against me. They would not dare go against my command.

I don't rule my pack in fear, but they have all seen me train since I took over as alpha. Before that I trained with the upper ranking wolves only. The lower ranking wolves are not the slightest challenge for me. None of them stand a chance against me one-on-one. That's why I train 5 to 1. No one will dare stand against me or I will rip their heart out of their chest before they can blink.

"Alpha the Luna wants to go for a run in the woods with her pets." said Raymond the guard I assigned to Vida interrupting my thoughts.

"Go with her!"

"She doesn't want me to go with them. She said she is going to the same place she was before?" said Raymond more as a question.

"Let her go but, I want you to keep her in your line of sight the whole time. "

"Yes Alpha." said Raymond.

I dive back into my pile of papers eager to get things in order for the acceptance ceremony to add a new pack member.

I look at the clock on my computer screen, 2:07, it's been 2 hours and she's not back yet.

"Mind link the guard and get an up-date on Vida." said Jax with worry for his mate. "I have a bad feeling."

Before I get the chance to agree with him, I get a mind link from Ken.

"Alpha a small pack of rogues have been spotted on the north easter pack boarder." said my Gamma, Ken.

"Vida is on the North Western area behind the pack house! Find them! Kill them! Now!" I growl. "I'm on my way!"

"Zane!" I yell in his mind.
