¤ (Y/n)'s Point Of View ¤

It was officially Saturday, the day Hyungwon finally allowed me to leave the apartment. I was fully recovered without the slightest symptom of sickness, now also allowed to roam the rest of my apartment freely rather than staying confined in my bedroom. Hyungwon hasn't mentioned our thurday conversation, seeming to have let go of his suspicions of me having a boyfriend.

The fact that Hyungwon had came to that conclusion so easily after seeing the screen of my video call for a mede second scared me. If that was all he needed to figure it out, I wondered how he'd persist on if he found even a slither of evidence towards my relationship. Hyungwon was the protective type- but it wasn't the fact that I would be dating a guy that bothered him. It's that I couldn't tell the good guys from the bad guys.

Hyungwon now knew that Jaehyun is a member of a mafia, my ex-boyfriend being such a dangerous man and I had no clue. This was the reason- at least, the reason I think is why he was being so persistant to meet my suspected boyfriend. He didn't want a repeat of what happened- and what currently is happening with Jaehyun to happen again. And I was sure that even though I.M wasn't as dangerous as Jaehyun was, he and every one of his friends were also on the 'blacklist' of my possible romantic interests. He would no way condone a relationship with a man who had any slither of a connection to the gang life. My future with I.M would not be easy.

In order to leave the house today without suspicion from my brother, I managed to come up with a lie saying that I'd be spending the day with Yeri and Joy. Hyungwon didn't give me much trouble on the idea, seeming to trist me more now that he did on thursday. He even gave me some money to spend without complaint, telling me not to come home to late and that he'd be indoors all day catching up on all his assignments that he had delayed.

So- quite cautiously, I left the house with an excited smile. I couldn't help but make sure that I wasn't being followed- not stupid enough to think that Hyungwon had dropped all suspicion against me. So with an eye ahead and and eye keeping close watch behind me, I made my way down the road. I had a bit of pep in my step as I walked, technically fast walking down the road all the way to the end in where I knew Changkyun would be waiting.

The moment the familliar noirette was in my sights, I set off into a run. A smile was on my face as I ran, giggling as I made my way into his arms. He hugged me back instantly, chuckling at my enthusiasm and I relaxed in his embrace. Changkyun had no idea how much I missed him- missed his physical contact. It's been almost a week since I've last saw him and that was far too long.

"I missed you so much." I mumbled into his chest, taking in everything from his warmth to his scent with my eyes closed. I could still hear his soft chuckles as well as feel the way he stroked my freed hair back as I tightened my grip against him.
"You've been texting me nonstop for the past three days." The boy teased pointedly, lifting my head up with a single finger so that we could finally lock eyes.

I couldn't help but glare at him for his comment, a pout on my lips as he teased me so openly.
"That's not the same and you know it!" I defended with a huff, watching as he chuckled even louder and threw his head back in amusement. That's when he began nodding, a teasing smile on his face as he finally decided to agree with me.

"Okay, okay. You're right. It's not the same." Changkyun chuckled out, wrapping his arms back around me and pulling me to his chest again.
"I missed you too..." The boy mumbled quietly, almsot so quiet that I couldn't hear him. But him admitting his feeling would never go unheard by me, especially when it was so hard for him to do so.

"Are you feeling better now?" He asked me as we parted, hinting back to the last time that I had physically saw him in which I was practically dying on my bed after passing out the moment we made it back to Seoul.
"Mhm, much better. It took forever for Hyungwon to let me leave because he's a drama queen- especially after almost seeing you the other day." I replied, wrapping my arm around his arms as we now continued to walk down the road.
