Tom POV
Megan was doing better, but she still slept in my room every night to prevent nightmares. We were talking about getting a new house and selling the one we have because all of the couples felt safer in bed together. Everyone seemed to really like the idea, so Lyla and Megan started looking for places.
"Hey," Maddie spoke up, "Why don't we get a house this time? It'll be more efficient and it'll be better for not having to walk up those stairs!"
"That's an amazing idea Mads! And could we get a smallish house? Because then it could feel homie!" Lyla screeched happily.
"This is why you're my girlfriend." Jay whispered, kissing Maddie on the cheek.
Maddie blushed and looked away.
