"You have a job interview today right?"

"Mhm, i'm going there right now!"

Y/n pushed the heavy glass doors open with one hand, her phone in the other as she had her purse slinging off her right shoulder. The building was old yet elegant, the walls were painted white with black and gold accents. The floors covered in shiny black tile as her painful heels clicked against it.

"I'll call you later okay?" Y/n said to her friend, looking over to the directory map as she tried to find which floor she was supposed to go to. "Mkay, talk to you later!" the call then ended as she slipped her phone into her purse.

"914..floor nine. Please tell me there's an elevator.." she mumbled to herself, looking around the walls and seeing nothing but a staircase. She looked at her watch, checking the time as she realized her interview was in five minutes.

'How the hell am I supposed to get up there..in five minutes?!' Y/n started to take off her heels, putting them in her big purse before speed walking to the stairs. She looked up, figuring that the ninth floor was the last floor. She took a deep sigh and started walking up the long flight of stairs.

"I hope I don't get this job.."

———

It way past five minutes, it seemed like fifteen if she were to keep count. By then, she reached the top floor, the ninth floor. Almost out of breath hit she manage to steady her breathing. It was only until a few seconds later that she came to realize there was an elevator just right across the hallway.

"You're fucking kidding me.." she whispered to herself, putting her heels back on before letting out a hiss from the pain.

He watched her struggle to walk, her face looked like she was contemplating whether or not to take off her shoes again. He fixed the papers that he had in front of her, placing a paper clip on the left hand corner of the pile.

"Uhm, excuse me." her voice was a bit breathless, it sounded like she was shy but once you look at her, she looked everything but shy. "Can you help me? Where's 914?" she asked, watching him lift up his head.

His green eyes pierced into hers, she was a bit taken back by the pretty color. "What's your name?" he asked her, her mouth immediately closing as he tilted his head off to the side, his black hair following his movements.

If she were to give him a word to describe him, she would say..

"Pretty." she said, almost as if she were in a day dream. He gave her look, a small sparkle in his eyes as she came out of her daze and gently shook her head. "I'm sorry, you're just very pretty! I love your eyes." she said with a smile.

The round glasses he had on the bridge of his nose slid just slightly before he pushed them back up. They were a good color, his choice of work clothing made his eyes stand out even more.

"Oh, my name is Y/n L/n! Are you like the secretary?" she asked, leaning closer against the counter. Her eyes moving down to his name tag. 'Akaashi K.' is what it said. "Akaashi." she added to the end of her sentence as she looked back into his eyes.

"Just part time, and you said L/n? 914 is down that way." Akaashi said, standing up from his chair as she realized how tall he was, almost hovering over her as he pointed his finger down the right side hallway. "It's on your right." he looked back at her.

"Thank you Akaashi!" she then started to head down the direction he pointed at. He watched her struggle with the heels, letting out a small laugh as she glanced back at him before taking them off and just walking without them, leaving her stepping on the floor with stockings on.

"You're welcome L/n."
