"How do I look?"

"Beautiful! My daughter going in her first date!"

"I came here to show you my outfit! Not for you to attack me!" Y/n cried out as she was standing in front of the mirror. Her dressed flowed down to her knees as her matching accessories glowed in the sunlight. "Okay! Okay! You look beautiful Y/n!" her mother said, giving her a glance before handing Y/n her white purse.

The doorbell rang, making the two freeze in place. "I'll go!" Y/n said, her heart racing as she made her way to the door. Her hand was hovering over the door knob and hesitating to open it before taking a deep breath and pulling the door open.

"Hi Y/n!" he spoke before she could, her eyes met his before they went down to the bundle of flowers in his hands. "Hi Keiji!" she said, taking away the awkward atmosphere that was starting to build up. "Are you ready to go?" Akaashi smiled brightly at her.

"Mhm!" she hummed, then turning to her mother who was silently cheering her on. "I'll see you later!" Y/n said to her mother before leaving the house.

"You wore the yellow dress." he said, glancing at her as she chuckled. "Mhm, I finally made my decision at midnight!" she exclaimed, a laugh escaping her lips as he wrapped his arm around hers. The two walked side by side on the pavement, she didn't know where they were going but she just followed his lead, having a feeling that it was somewhere sweet.

"So what did you have plan for us Keiji?"

But she couldn't help it and asked him either way.

"You'll see. It might be not what you expected but I like the idea of it." Akaashi held her tight, soon his hands moving down to hers and interlocking fingers. Y/n's cheeks heated up at the contact, her heart raced more and more when she was with him.

She most definitely knew she liked him more than words could explain. She laid her head on his shoulder, smiling lightly as the comfortable atmosphere the two created. Y/n held his hand tightly, not too tight, but tight enough for him to know not to let go of her.

"I don't mind where we go, anywhere with you will be fine with me." she said, lifting her head up and giving him a peck on the cheek as he started to blush. "Stop it.." he mumbled, an uncontrollable grin appeared on his face.

He could definitely stay like this forever.

"It's a nice day for the beach!"

She immediately took off her shoes and stepped onto the sand, letting the warm breeze kiss her skin as he smiled at her. "I think the water's at the perfect temperature too." Akaashi said, following behind her as he as well took off his shoes, holding them by his fingers.

"Are we getting in?" she turned her head back just slightly, enough to meet his eyes. "Only if you want to, I was only planning to put my feet in." he said, watching her nod her head before jogging back to him, grabbing his hand and taking him to the water.

The two shared a laugh once their skin hit the cool water, they took a step back until they inched closer and closer to the ocean. Akaashi held onto Y/n's arm tightly, not wanting to let go of her.

He then felt a splash of water hit his clothes, his jaw dropping as he met her guilty eyes. "Oops." she said, splashing him one more time while smiling. "Oh we're doing this Y/n?" he said with a shocked expression on his face before throwing some water on her. Now her jaw dropped.

"Oh wow Keiji, I didn't know you were like that!" she said sarcastically. The two paused for a second before going back to throwing a fit of splashing water on to each other.

The two eventually got tired at sat on the sand eating their favorite ice cream while watching the sun slowly come down to the horizon. A light shade of orange and pink filled the west side of the sky as the sunlight hit their skin, warming their bodies just slightly so they wouldn't shiver.

Y/n laid her head onto Akaashi's shoulder, feeling his drop onto her head. A grin tugging on her lips while her hand slowly made its way to his, her palm on top of the back if his hand as her fingers filled the gaps between his and holding it.

"Keiji." she started to say, lifting her head up and turning her body so that she was fully facing him. He looked at her with full attention, wondering what she was going to say next. "Y/n." he said back to her, making her chuckle in response. She stared deeply into his eyes, her cheeks heating up from the eye contact as her heart was banging against her chest.

"Can I kiss you?"

"But..why would you want to kiss me?"

"Because I want to." she looked at him with admiration in her eyes. He was definitely shocked at her question and his eyes could speak for himself. He gulped, an awkward tension now starting to build once he kept looking back at her.

"Okay." was all he said, making her freeze because she didn't expect him to actually answer her question. "Okay? You don't mind?" she asked him, looking at hin with wide eyes as he shook his head. "No, I don't." she heard him say, Y/n slowly blinked, trying to process what he just said but was interrupted once she felt his lips on top of hers. She was in shock for about a second but came back to her senses, then kissing him back.

He felt her smile into the kiss and so did she.

"Do you..want to go out with me? And I mean not like on another date, I mean like boyfriend and girlfriend!" she said all at once, watching his eyes widened while a blush hit his cheeks. "You're a very fast paced person Y/n. We just kissed and now you're asking me to he your boyfriend!" he said with a laugh.

"Of course I am! I would never let go of someone like you!" she said, gently pushing his shoulder while he stared at her in awe. "Really?" he mumbled. "Yes really! I'm being serious Keiji. I want to be your girlfriend—"

"Then i'll be your boyfriend Y/n. Starting today."

"Oh shit..really?!"

"Yes Y/n, really."
