"You look pretty today L/n."

She smiled at his compliment, glancing at him as she nodded her head in thanks. "Thank you, it means a lot especially from a pretty boy like you." she said, watching the tip of his ears slowly turn red as he tried to hide the blush that easily formed on his cheeks. "Thank you." he quickly mumbled.

"I forgot to ask, how old are you Akaashi?"

"I'm twenty two."

"Really? I'm twenty one!" she said, putting one finger up as she lightly laughed. "I thought you'd be twenty or my age, but twenty two is no different." she said, in the corner of her eye she saw him nod his head. "So you said i'll see you in the mornings? What about the afternoon? Do you work somewhere else?" she tilted her head up, glancing at him with wide eyes.

"Not really, just on the fourth floor of the same building. Me and my co-worker exchange shifts. I take ninth in the morning and he takes ninth in the evening while i'm at fourth." he looked over to her, a bit surprised that she was already looking at him.

"Then i'll visit you before and after work!"

"You would do that? I wouldn't mind." he mumbled, nudging his arm against her as she smiled. "Of course! I would love to get to know you better!" she said as they waited at the sidewalk, both glancing at the 'wait signal' while cars passed.

"What time do you get off of work?"

"Five thirty-ish, what about you Akaashi?"

"Ten." he answered, watching her jaw drop as he chuckled from her response. "That's like twelve hours of work! You're the secretary right? So imagine all of that work that your bosses have to give you! Aren't you tired?!" Akaashi looked at her with wide eyes before laughing as his hand went over her head and patted it.

"I'm fine with it, i'm used to the long hours either way so it's not a big deal to me L/n.." he said, holding his hands together and started fumbling with his fingers. "I mean I guess if you're fine with it..but you should still get some rest when you need it Akaashi."

"I do on the weekends, I mostly sleep the whole day.." he chuckled with embarrassment. "Then when i'm hungry, I just make myself something to eat." he said, looking at her as the cars stopped moving, signaling them that it was their turn to walk across the crosswalk.

As they were walking, they stood close to each other, their shoulders brushing against each other as they looked forward and ignoring the small touches. Her only response to him was a hum. Once they got to the other side of the street, Y/n glanced at him, only a small glance that he would barely notice.

He was much more prettier in the sun light, his skin glowed as his eyes sparkled. If you looked closer, his hair wasn't actually pitch black, but a nice deep brown. Pretty in every way, he was.

"Akaashi, are you free this weekend? Specifically at noon?" she suddenly spoke up, her eyes catching the tiny glance he gave her before looking forward. "I am. Specifically, why are you asking L/n?" he said with a smile.

"Because I would like to go on a date with you Mr. Akaashi. Specifically a nice picnic would do." she said with a smile, tilting her head to look at him as he was smiling back at her. "A picnic? How romantic." he lightly chuckled, nudging her arm as she did it back to him. "At what time? And where would you like to meet?" he asked.

The two entered their work building, both walking towards the elevator as she bit her bottom lip, trying to find an ideal time. "Just before sunset, we can meet here, at the front doors and i'll lead you to my favorite place!" she said, watching him press the '9' button as he hummed.

"Just before sunset, when? Saturday or Sunday?" he said, leaning against the elevator walls as she did the same, crossing her arms as she held her purse in her hands. "Saturday."

"Then Saturday it is." he smiled cheekily, watching her grin as the elevator stopped, both of them turning their heads to look at the doors open. They both stepped out, glancing at each other as they started walking towards the middle of the lobby.

"I'll call you after work Akaashi! I'll see you later!"

"I'll look forward to it L/n."
