You were out on a walk when you saw a stubby man with short fluffed up hair tending to someone who injured themselves you decided to be nosy because why not, curiosity might've killed the cat but they have 9 lives you approached him and peered over his shoulder

"Soo.. what happened?" The man jumped up being startled and he turned back slightly to see what you looked like "ah, sorry you scared me, gingerbrave here called me over to help his friend custard, his wrist and ankle are real swollen, said he got stung by a honey bee" you nodded and looked at the little orange-y-yellow hair colored kid

His cheeks had smudged tears on them, though his sleeves weren't wet nor was anything else he could've wiped his eyes with you looked at what the white haired man was doing and you saw one of his sleeves supposedly had tear drops on them, "so uh, where do you come from" he hesitates and remembered "ah the city of golden biscuit, why?"

You were kind of shocked ,wasn't that city almost 50 minutes away? Did he rush over here to treat custard? That's sweet of him "hm, well what's your name, since I haven't asked" he was digging in his medical kit "huh- OH RIGht I'm dr.bones heh" you wondered 'hm funny name' "so do you have a first name, dr. Bones?"

"Ah right first name its sugar, sugar bones haha funny name right?" (Pssst guys, the sugar part isn't actually cannon just a heads up) you nodded and giggled a bit wondering why his parents named him that "so what's your name yourself?" You hesitated digging into your brain "ah Y/N, Y/N L/N"

He pondered for a second "so have you ever been to a hospital?" He asked while pulling out an syringe and a bottle for bee stings (I have no idea how to treat bee stings so instead of an epipen I'll use a syringe and stuff) custard flinched a bit and tried scooting back as he was pure vanilla approached behind him and stopped custard dead in his tracks

"Ahh so that's where you've been custard! Now I suggest you should stay nearby the doctor!" Custard shook his head furiously "nuh uh! I don't like needles they hurt!" He stated as you stood up and picked him up "would you like I held your hand that's not swollen?" He nodded

"Yes pleassseee..." you sat down next to Dr.bones and held custard in your lap as his tiny hand squeezed onto your hand burying his face into your chest to hide from the scary needle, when he felt it poke his wrist he held on tighter as you patted his head "ah, I should get going bye custard, return home when you can!"

Pure vanilla walked away as custard stared tearing up when the needle got to his ankle then, he was done "there! Now that wasn't too bad was it?" You realized he was crying "... or it was that bad" you gotten up with custard clinging onto you as best as he can, "well Dr.bones, do you have any more work?"

He shook his head "nope that was my last patient for now, I can take a break for a while since it's been slow" you nodded as he went to a bathroom building to change and returned with some casual clothes "ahh you look good" he blushed a small bit "thanks!"

"Let's return custard now" you guys started walking back to the home he lives in although royal descent, he likes to have his own little home next to the castle, of course he's allowed in but he prefers being on his own accords since he lived like that for around a year until pure vanilla had arrived

You stopped at the gate and handed custard to a guard "here's custard the III, make sure he gets better with his bee stings!" The guards nodded and one went off to put him inside you and Dr.bones started walking somewhere "hm, so are you hungry? Or just me" he asked "me too let's go to the jampie diner, it's good" he nodded and you guys had a mini date there

"Thanks for this, see you soon maybe!" You nodded and returned back to his place, that night you couldn't stop thinking of him, he was quite the cute one.. wait you say up "DO I HAVE A CRUSH!?" You asked yourself you got a knock on your door a minute later you opened it and saw

..licorice.. damn you sighed "yes licorice?" "Can I hide out here pleaasseeee I'm gonna get killed if I don't!" You stepped aside and closed the door as he got in you drew all the curtains and later you heard more knocking "yes!-" you opened the door as licorice hid behind the couch- "ah, Dr.bones, miss me already?" He shook his head "have you seen someone named licorice!? I've been meaning to treat him!"

You shook your head "no why, what happened to him?" He was surprised "have you not SEEN him!? The skinniness, the bandages,the consumption of lean like its water!, and that small dot scar, I think he needs to be hospitalized!" (Hehehehe lean 💜) Hm, well you couldn't say you've not questioned it buuttt he wouldn't budge on not telling

You cleared your throat "nope haven't seen him, good luck" you pat his arm and shut the door, when he headed over to the next house you decided to chew licorice out for deciding you'd be the best viable option to go to "licorice. WHY WAS I THE CHOSEN SCAPEGOAT YA LEAN MONSTER!?"
