I quickly ran out my car and raided my fridge. My parents had a cocktail party a few days ago and I was sure there was some snacks, maybe even some beer.

My parents were gonna be at my aunts house all day cause I recently lost my uncle.

I grabbed a cooler and filled it with ide, then put in some sodas and beers, then a few waters.

I set up another table for food, towels, clothes, and another special drink I was gonna make .

The special drink contained of vodka and champagne. I tried it once and with the right amounts it couldn't be bad.

I poured in the right measurements then put two containers of solo cups next to it.

Now I had to call everyone.

I called everyone except for Sidney because I wanted to ask her last.

I dialed her number cautiously.

Most of the others answered on the 3rd ring, but Sidney answered on the 7th.

"Hello?" Sidney said in a irritated voice.

"Hey it's Joan."

"God, what do you want."

"I was just asking if you wanted to come to my pool party."

"No. Bye."

Sidney was about to hang up before I said, "WAIT!"

"What?!"

"I promised Sasha and Cole they would come. And so is Harley."

Sidney sighed.

"Fine."

She hung up before I could say anything else.

I shrugged it off and changed into a new bikini I had just bought.

Everyone started arriving 15 minutes later.

Everyone didn't even bother to ask about anything. I guess they didn't mind feeling like home.

Sidney was the last one to come, and by this time everyone had went in the pool.

Surprisingly, Sidney actually came in a bathing suit. It wasn't a bikini, it was a one suit, but it still counted.

"Hi!" I said with enthusiasm. I could tell Sidney only came because I promised Sasha and Cole that she would come.

"Hey." Sidney said in a zoned out tone.

She put her towel down where all the other towels were and sat near the edge of the pool.

She was skeptical about the water, but she dipped her foreleg in.

Sasha went up to her and whispered something in her ear, making her giggle the slightest bit.

I decided to go into the water as well.

Harley had hopped out and quietly tiptoed over to Sidney. After Sasha and Cole left her new, Harley pushed Sadie in, making her plunge through the water. She was soaked.

Sidney took a moment to realize what was going on.

"Fuck you!" Sidney said in a voice I wasn't sure if either she was joking or being honest.

Harley giggled and jumped in as well, splashing everyone else who wasn't in the pool, also splashing me who was still standing on the steps of it.

by this time, even Sidney and Sasha were drunk.

Everyone was, even me.

I was chugging my 3rd cup of the mix of vodka and champagne when Jacob walked over to me, also drunk.

He whispered something in my ear, then walked away.

I saw Aaron and maya making out near some bushes, sam and Harley talking seperatly, and Cole Sasha and Sidney talking as well. No one would see me, so I sneaked off inside the house.

I saw a note that said to go upstairs to my room.

I went up the stairs to see Jacob sitting on my bed.
