We all jumped lightly, but got back to reality and held our weapons tighter.
{JOANS POV}
I ran back inside quickly and got back in the circle.
Everything was quiet until an axe came out of nowhere and slashed Lola in the chest.
Lola let out a terrified scream mixed with a sob.
Sidney looked over at lola with wide eyes then back at the killer, swinging at aaron.
Sidney jumped him and stabbed him in the back twice.
The killer threw Sidney off and swung at Sidney, missing by an inch.
Sidney hopped back to her feet and punched the killer, leaving blood on her fist.
Sidney ran to the hallway from one end to the other, jumping over a string.
The killer followed her, not paying attention. Harley followed behind, and the killer slipped on the string.
"PULL IT!" Sidney screamed, Harley pulling the rope to her left making the gasoline pour all over the killer.
"EVERYONE OUT!!" She screamed to anyone in the house.
Harley was gonna run over but Jacob grabbed her wrist and threw her outside with us.
A few moments passed by, we all thought Sidney died.
But Sidney burst out the house and we all followed her when she continued to run.
It was 9:45 and the sky had a light shine to it.
"FUCK WHAT ABOUT THE CAR?!" I screamed, holding onto Lola's hand.
"LEAVE IT!"
I turned my head back as I saw Maya's house blow to smithereens.
Lola continued to limp along with me, but her legs let out and she fell to the ground.
"Shit, lola get up."
I tried to help her up but she wouldn't budge.
"Just go, I'll just slow you down.
"N-no I can carry you or something.." I said, trying to keep back the lump in my throat.
Lola had been my best friend since 3rd grade. I couldn't leave her there to die.
At this point everyone was crowding around behind me.
"I-I I can't leave you. I refuse to leave you."
"Listen, the police station is an hour away walking distance.. you could still get hurt."
"So could you!"
Lola held my hand tightly.
"Joan, I promise, cross my fucking heart, that I will make it back one way or another. But I can't let you wait on me and have the chance of getting hurt.."
"Lola stop, stop talking this fucking nonsense I can't leave you here that's crazy the killer could get you.."
"Guys.." Sasha tried to say but I kept interrupting her.
"I am not leaving you here to fucking die, not without me by your side."
"JOAN!!" Sasha shrieked
"WHAT?!?" I asked in annoyance.
"We gotta go, right fucking now.."
I could tell Sasha was trying to stay strong but I could tell she was trying not to cry.
I looked over and saw a man with a small dagger running to us.
My eyes widened as Sidney tried to pull me with them.
"Just Go!" Lola screamed.
I was sobbing at this point and squeezed Lola into a long hug.
"Goodbye, Joan." She said, tears streaming down her cheeks, showing a soft smile.
I wanted to yank Lola with me at the last second by Sidney grabbed me quicker then I expected and she basically dragged me along with her.
I looked back to see the man with the dagger murdering Lola. Blood was splattering everywhere.
I started crying while I held on to Sidney's hand.
We continued running until the killer was no longer seen.
Every bent down to their knees and catches their breath.
I tilted on my knees then looked up.
Lola was gone.
I couldn't help but start crying again.
Sidney looked over at me.
"Are you okay?" She asked softly.
I started sobbing again. I turned around and hugged Sidney tightly.
She hugged back softly, trying to calm me down.
I let my arms loose then looked around.
I noticed we were missing someone.
