*Parker's POV*

I've been crying in his arms so long it's starting to hurt. I just keep thinking about being at her grave site not seeing anything in her casket.. the tombstone being smashed..

I started hyperventilating. I got dizzy. It felt like I wasn't in my body. All that was there was pain.

"Breathe P.. I'm right here. We'll figure this out, but I need you to breathe for me honey." Gavin said softly trying to get me to calm down.

"S-She's gone.. she has to be gone Gav.." I muttered as my hands started to shake. He gently grabbed my hand and placed it above his heart.

"Breathe with me P. You've got this, this feeling is temporary. It'll pass." He replied before slowly inhaling and exhaling again. It took a minute before I was finally able to breathe right again.

"I'm sorry.." I whispered to him still laying in his arms on the bed. "You've got nothing to apologize for." He replied in the same tone before he started to run his hands through my hair.

It became harder and harder to keep my eyes open as he continued to play with my hair. "Rest Parker. I can tell you need it. We'll figure it all out tomorrow." He whispered before placing a soft kiss on my forehead.

I nodded slightly finally letting my eyes close for the night.

*Gavin's POV*

I laid in the bed with Parker for a few more minutes before slowly and carefully getting up so I didn't wake her. I walked to the only empty room left which happened to be right across from Parkers.

I unpacked and got settled before hearing Billie call me into the living room. "Hey Gavin." She said with a smile as we both found somewhere to sit down.

"Hi Billie." I responded kinda nervous. "How's she doing?" Bille asked as her brows began to furrow in concern. "She's shaken up, and fragile. She's hurt, and confused by everything. I can tell she's ready to figure everything out though." I responded with a hopeful look on my face.

"She's been like this for a little over half a month now, and we just really didn't know what to do." Billie states as a sorrowful look makes its way to her face.

"We tried to help, but it seemed like nothing we could do would make it better." She continued before looking down at her lap.

"Billie you've done everything you can in this situation. You've been understanding, and here when she needed you. She'll make it out of this I promise." I stated placing my hand over hers as she nodded in response.

The rest of the family introduced themselves and we all began talking about Parker, as well as other things like school, collage, and what adoption was like for me. We all got along really well which was good because I was hoping to see Parker more after this.

All of a sudden I feel someone tap my shoulder. I turn around to see Parker. "Hey P. You okay?" I asked. "Uhm yeah. Can I talk to you real quick?" She asked nervously. I nodded before following her to her room.

We walked in and she shut the door before locking it. "I want to open the letter." She said bluntly looking me dead in the eyes. "You're sure?" I asked raising a brow. "Mhm." She mumbled before texting her mom.

There was then three knocks on the door. "Parker?" Fallon asked. "Yeah mom?" She responded. "I have it. I'm gonna slide it under the door, and you can talk about it when you're ready okay?" She asked before Parker replied with a yes.

The letter was slipped under the door. I picked it up and handed it to her.
