Tomura knew he had no choice he had to say yes. He tried but the words wouldn't come out of his mouth he was frozen like a statue. "Well?" The oriental asked getting impatient with the young man's silence. "Um, yes I do." Tomura said he felt his heart beat loudly in his chest he was scared.
"Todoroki Touya do you take Shigaraki Tomura as your husband?" The oriental asked. "Yes." Dabi said his face was emotionless unlike Tomura's which was frightened. "You may now kiss the bride." The oriental said he closed his book that he had been reading out of for the ceremony.
Tomura knew he had to do this but he'd forgotten about it during his panic and stress. Dabi grew impatient watching the young man struggle internally he just wanted this to be over with. Dabi grabbed Tomura by the collar of his shirt he pulled him close then kissed him.
Tomura was surprised by warm lips on his own. He leaned into the kiss not knowing what else to do. Dabi's lips were weird one was soft the other tough just like the rest of his scars. They both broke apart Tomura avoided Dabi's gaze to embarrassed to do anything else. Dabi scoffed looking away as well he wanted to set something on fire.
Kurogiri pulled Tomura off to the side to talk to him for a moment. "I know your situation isn't good but you should ask him for a dance. That's romantic right?" Kurogiri said he wanted Tomura to be able to get along with his husband for everyone's sakes.
"I'm not doing that!" Tomura hissed he didn't want to spend more time with Dabi than he had to. "Come on just give it a try. Be the bigger person maybe then he'll be nice to you." Kurogiri said he nudged the prince in the direction of Dabi."Fine but you owe me one old man." Tomura said he knew the man was trying to hide his smile.
Tomura walked back over to Dabi who still stood where they last had been standing. He was looking around seemingly bored but Tomura knew he was taking in his surroundings. "Hey, can I have a dance?" Tomura asked he held out his hand to the other young man.
Dabi rolled his eyes he grabbed the bandaged hand Tomura had offered. He didn't have anything better to do until the kings decided to end the wedding. Dabi spotted them chatting near the doorway probably to make sure Dabi wouldn't try to escape. His father was smart enough to know Dabi could escape easily in a big room with only one guard protecting the door.
Dabi was yanked forward into Tomura's chest. He was about to snap at him but Tomura sent him a glare. Dabi wasn't scared of him not in the slightest he just didn't feel like arguing right now. Tomura knew how to dance pretty well which didn't shock Dabi. If he had been raised anything like Dabi he'd been taught how to dance from a young age to impress the daughters or sons of rich people their parents wanted to make a good impression on.
Dabi went threw the motions automatically he ignored the hand the bandaged one on his waist and the other one on his arm. Dabi wondered how he'd gotten his hand hurt enough to bandage it. He supposed it didn't really matter. Dabi saw his father and All For One watching them they talked happily probably about how well they were getting along now.
If only they knew Dabi was only going above causing trouble that day since he just wanted the blasted wedding to end. Dabi would love to crash his own wedding however he could escape easier if he could fool them into thinking he wasn't actively plotting to get away. He'd lie low a few weeks until their guards were down then he'd be gone before anyone suspected he was gone.
Dabi grinned he hid his face in Tomura's shoulder. Tomura grumbled something under his breath about Dabi being too close he ignored it. If he didn't like it he shouldn't have invited him to dance. After they were done Dabi was told to say goodbye to his husband by his father.
Dabi grabbed Tomura's bandaged hand he smirked at the other male. Tomura was confused he tried to pull his hand back Dabi held it firmly stopping him. Dabi brought the hand up to his lips he kissed Tomura's hand. "Have a great day my dearest prince." Dabi said mockingly before striding off after his father.
Tomura was left their red faced and shocked. Tomura shook his head the other man had been mocking him it was nothing to be embarrassed about. "I'll kick his ass next time." Tomura growled he stared down at his bandaged hand like it had offended him. It hadn't but the person who had taken it to dance with him had.
Dabi grinned all the way back to the palace. It was so easy to make the prince flustered. A simple touch or kiss would make him freeze up. He was interesting indeed. Dabi's curiosity had been piped. He might stick around for a few weeks to see how things went. Tomura seemed fun to mess with.
Tomura could be dangerous he understood that. Dabi always loved playing with fire though. He was ready to get burned. Dabi was covered in scars what was a few more?
Tomura tossed and turned in his bed. He couldn't get Dabi's infuriating smile out of his head. Everytime he thought about the fire user he got angry and flustered at the same time. Tomura grabbed the nearest thing in site turning it into dust in his rage. His pillow had been the victim of his anger tonight.
Tomura groaned he would have to get up to ask Kurogiri for a new one. Tomura gave up on trying to sleep he decided to take a walk. Their was no way he could sleep soundly that night. Tomorrow his world would be different. Tomorrow Dabi was coming to live with him. He'd never be alone again. Tomura was going to enjoy his final moments of solitude.
