It had been five years since they had met. A lot had happened since then. Both men had grown up and learned to love one another. Even if it had taken time. They still bickered back and forth. Tomura didn't think they could ever stop. The only difference now was that it was playful or they didn't actually mean all the things they said.

Some people wondered how they were married or if they loved each other at all. Of course they didn't care what anyone thought. They had each other plus someone special now. Two years of them being married plus loving one another they added another to their family.

Kurogiri was excited along with the rest of their friends. Kurogiri was the most though. He was always the go to babysitter for the parents when they needed a break. Makoto was a bit of a wild child. They both loved their daughter and wouldn't trade her for anything.

"Makoto get back here!" Tomura yelled as he chased after the toddler. She was refusing to go to bed. She had asked for five more minutes of playtime. Tomura being the sap he was for his daughter had agreed. Then when he'd come back to get her she'd ran away.

Tomura leaned against the wall out of breath. The toddler was faster than she looked. Which quickly wore Tomura out. Spending all his time in his office wasn't doing him any good it seemed. Not that he was that active before he became king. That wasn't the point though.

Makoto was two years old and a spunky one at that. She loved to make her parents chase her around the house until they had to take a nap alongside her. She had bright white hair which confused Tomura at first. He didn't doubt she was his for a second. He didn't think Dabi would cheat on him.

Dabi explained he dyed his hair which cleared the confusion up. She had Tomura's red eyes. Tomura found he liked the combination of both of their features. Dabi had also quit dying his hair after he had their daughter. He liked to match Makoto Tomura presumed. Or he just didn't care anymore.

Evidently it had been to piss off his dad at first. Then he'd done it out of habit. Speaking of Dabi he entered the room at just the right time. "There you are brat." Dabi said as he picked his daughter up. "Are you giving daddy trouble?" Dabi asked her he poked her side making her laugh.

"No." She said obviously lying as she avoided eye contact and sucked her thumb. "Uh huh sure. Let's get you to bed." Dabi said he started walking in the direction of his and Tomura's shared bedroom. Since they were married they thought it was best to share a room.

It was what had been Tomura's room. It had enough space for Tomura, Dabi, and Makoto for now. She slept in a crib near the wall she wasn't old enough for her own room. Makoto cried as they put her to bed Tomura almost got up to get her a hand on his shoulder stopped him.

"She'll stop soon enough go to bed. You can't keep spoiling her. Or else this behavior will continue." Dabi said he laid down after blowing out the lantern that was illuminating the room he gave Tomura kiss on the head. Tomura felt conflicted he knew Dabi was right but he couldn't bear to hear his daughter cry no matter how long.

Tomura debated for a few minutes before giving in. "Screw it Dabi I can't be the bad cop." Tomura said he picked his daughter up. He shushed her gently as he rocked her back in forth. "It's okay daddy's here." Tomura said he felt his heart beat fast as he felt her lay her head against his chest.

He loved his daughter the only other one who he loved as much was Dabi. They were the two most important people in his life. Tomura got into bed once again Makoto laid in between her parents. Tomura didn't care if Dabi lectured him that she was old enough to sleep on his own.

Tomura wished his parents had loved him. He was going to make sure his daughter knew love. He didn't care if that meant spoiling her as Dabi called it. Dabi glanced at his husband to make sure he wasn't awake. He was surprised he hadn't woken up with all the crying and Tomura leaving bed.

Tomura put one arm around Makoto. The other one rested on Dabi's waist. He fell asleep shortly to the sound of Dabi's even breathing. Dabi opened his eyes a few minutes later after he was sure Tomura was asleep. He saw their daughter in-between them.

He shook his head fondly. He didn't think he'd ever get Tomura to stop giving into their daughters whims. Dabi hated being the un fun parent who made their kid behave. But someone had to do it and Tomura wasn't capable of it clearly judging by his last actions.

"Kurogiri I'm on the brink of insanity can you please babysit?" Tomura asked he flopped down the couch exhausted. "What's wrong?" Kurogiri asked concerned as he took in Tomura's appearance. His hair was a mess and he had bags under his eyes.

"Makoto is learning to sleep in her own room she doesn't like it at all. Her crying is keeping me awake I feel so bad. Dabi had to almost physically hold me down." Tomura said he groaned. "Of course I will. Dabi has good reasons though." Kurogiri said their daughter needed to be on her own during the night even if they didn't want it.

"I'm aware trust me. I can't help it though! I mean come on she's only four! My baby by herself..." Tomura said he cut himself off not wanting to think about it. "God forbid when she goes to school." Dabi said collapsing next to Tomura on the couch. "You'll be a wreck." Dabi said chuckling.

"Shut up." Tomura said playfully shoving his husband's shoulder. "I hope you're ready for this again." Dabi said before he got up and left. Tomura stared at the wall confused for a second. His eyes widened as realization dawned on him. "Hey get back here!" Tomura shouted as he chased after Dabi suddenly not so tired anymore.

Kurogiri shook his head smiling. Those two were meant for each other even if they didn't know if at first. Kurogiri went to go get Makoto from her bed which she was currently napping in. "What are we gonna do with your dad's?" He asked the child as he picked her up awaking her. She smiled as she rubbed her eyes sleepily, "Give them away."
