Chapter 18 Questioning

Tomura stared straight ahead his expression was blank. All For One had gotten back the next morning after the incident with Muscular. He was currently yelling at Tomura. Tomura wasn't listening to any of it he blocked All For One out he knew the man was saying vile things about him. Tomura didn't care to hear that.

Dabi paced outside the door he could hear yelling but he couldn't make out words. Dabi was tempted to burst in their and take All For One on. That wouldn't be smart as he was stronger than both Tomura and Dabi combined. Dabi hoped that his friend was okay he knew what it felt like to be hated by someone who was supposed to be your father figure.

"You could ruin the Void Kingdoms reputation for this!" All For One shouted Tomura tuned in to what he was saying after that. "People already think your shady what is me killing someone going to make worse." Tomura said he knew he was correct. Multiple people were terrified of All For One almost everyone had heard of his I'll misdeeds from rumors. Unlike them Tomura could confirm they were true.

"Why you little-" All For One said he raised his hand. Tomura's expression turned fearful he put his arms above his head to protect himself from the blow. Dabi burst threw the door he hadn't heard what the man had said but he recognized the hostile tone.

Dabi stood in front of Tomura he aimed a blast of fire in All For One's face. Dabi grabbed Tomura's hand he quickly drug him down the hallway for a place to hide. Dabi opened a janitors closet he shoved Tomura inside. Dabi ran in after him closing the door behind him.

They were both pressed against one another in the dark. Dabi could hear both of their quick breathing from running. "I think we're safe. Stay quiet though for a few minutes." Dabi whispered. They heard loud footsteps Dabi pressed himself tighter against Tomura his breathing stopped as he waited in fearful anticipation for something to happen.

They both let out relived sighs when the footsteps faded away. "Okay let's go." Dabi said he held the door open for Tomura. Tomura didn't say anything he had a far off look in his eyes. "Hey, are you okay?" Dabi asked worriedly. "I might be." Tomura mumbled before he walked away.

The next day Dabi found himself in the kitchen with Toga. She had cornered him asking him a multitude of questions about Tomura. "Why do you care so much about Tomura?" Dabi asked confused. "I'm asking you questions about him to see why you care about him." Toga said grinning.

"That literally makes no sense." Dabi said he wondered sometimes why he was friends with her. "I think we both know what's going on between you two." Toga said she grinned even wider. Dabi raised a eyebrow, "Reluctant friendship? If that's such a interest to you Toga you need to find new entertainment." Dabi said he didn't know what she found interesting about him and Tomura.

"Sure." Toga said like she didn't believe him. "Whatever I'm not dealing with whatever you're trying to get at." Dabi said he ignored her to put cookies in the furnace. "Is it my fault your love life is interesting?" Toga asked Dabi dropped the pan in shock. "What?" He asked.

"It's obvious your in love with Tomura." Toga said teasingly. "First off I'm not. Second the only thing that is going to be noticable in a bit is your lack of hair." Dabi said he ignited his hand on fire and started chasing her. Toga took off laughing like the psycho Dabi knew she was.

Tomura cursed he kept forgetting that roses had thorns. He picked some for Dabi they had bloomed he knew Dabi liked flowers. Tomura carried them inside this time careful to avoid the thorns. Tomura saw someone running fast in his direction. "What the?" Tomura asked as they got closer.

Tomura let out a yelp as Toga slammed into him knocking him to the ground and sending the floors all over the floor. Toga quickly got up laughing she ran away. Hot in pursuit was Dabi he had his hand on fire he was probably trying to burn her for something.

Tomura grumbled he started picking up the flowers. He groaned most of them had been smashed by Toga. He decayed them deciding he didn't want to clean them up. "Stupid Toga ruining my gift." Tomura said he guessed the fabric he got Dabi in town would just have to do.

It was later that night whenever he saw Toga again. He wanted to growl at her to be more careful. "Hey, Tomu did you give Dabi those flowers?" Toga asked amused. Her hair had been singed the end of it was black. Tomura had to suppress his laughter at the sight of that. Looks like he had gotten his revenge.

"No you stepped all over them." Tomura said calmly. He decided not to growl at her she had gotten her hair burnt that was enough compensation for him. "Oh, sorry like my new haircut?" Toga asked jokingly. Tomura rolled his eyes but he couldn't keep from smiling. "Yeah, whatever." He said before walking away.

Tomura knocked on Dabi's door the man opened it. "What it's late." Dabi said he sounded tired he rubbed at his eyes. "Uh, sorry but I brought you this since your coat got ruined in the garden." Tomura said he scratched the back of his neck nervously. He didn't know why he cared about waking up Dabi he was just a annoying nuisance.

"Hm, thanks I'll deal with it in the morning." Dabi said sleepily he sat the fabric on the ground next to his bed. "Goodnight." Dabi said he gave Tomura a small smile before closing the door. Tomura stood there for a few seconds he felt his heart beat faster when he thought about Dabi's smile. It had been cute. Tomura shook his head what had gotten into him?
