You and Daniel have been dating for a while now. You guys always have fun when you are alone together. The problem is, you can never go out in public together. Every time you and him try to go see a movie or go to a restaurant. Daniel gets mobbed by fans.
You know its what you have to pay for dating a famous singer, but you just wish he had more time for you guys to do things. You want a normal relationship where you can go to amusement parks, sport games, and concerts without someone asking you to take a picture of them with Daniel.
As much as it bothers you, your biggest fear is losing him. You feel like the farther he goes into his career the more he forgets about you.
Its Friday, its a tradition that you two go to Daniel's house and watch a movie together. You are on your way there when you get a text
"Hey Dana, change of plans. Can you meet me at the diner? I wanna grab dinner. Love you"
Great. Exactly what you wanted. You turn your car around and head toward the diner. When you get there Daniel is waiting outside. You park and go up to him.
"Hey babe" he says
"Hi" you reply
"I had a long day in the studio and I just wanted to grab some food with my favorite girl." He grabs your hand and leads you inside.
Its a new record. No one has come up to you guys yet. You get seated in s booth in the back of the restaurant. You have only been together for five minutes and you already forgot about why you were upset.
You are served your food when a girl comes up to your table. She asks for a picture and you put on a smile and take one. After, you sit back down but now you are more upset than before.
"Tell me, whats up?" Daniel asks.
"What do you mean. Im fine."
"I hate those words. You are not fine and I can tell. I probably know you better than anyone else. And when something bothers you it bothers me too." Right then, you just lose it. You break down in the booth crying. Daniel gets up and slides in next to you. He wraps his arms around you and just holds you. You finally look up.
"I just hate that we can't go in public without having to stop and take pictures. I know its selfish but I want you too myself. I tell myself its okay but I know its not. I feel like I'm getting closer and closer to lose you."
"You will never lose me. I love you. I know its hard but I can't avoid it. I'm sorry I can't give you a normal relationship, but that's what makes us special."
"I know. I love you too." You burry your face in his sleeve.
"There is no one else I'd rather spend my days with. There are so many fans out there, but you will always be my number one." He kisses you on the forehead and you just sit there. Snuggled in him. You never want to leave. You want to be frozen in this moment forever.
