"What's your name?" Daniel asked me. Of course I knew him. The whole country knew him. But I'm just the new girl at his school that secretly was in love with him on American Idol.
"Allyson." I reply blushing.
"You have an amazing voice by the way! I supported you on Idol!" I reply.
I immediately regret saying that.
He smiles and says "aw thanks you're so cute!"
Cute won't make him date me. Cute won't get me anywhere with him.
I walk to my first class to find he's in it with me. He calls me out to sit next to him.
I walk over smiling.
"Ok class. Now I'll be assigning groups for your essay."
She calls out a whole list of names and then till its just me and Daniel.
Daniel smiles.
"Come over my house after school and we'll work on the essay." He winks.
I smile and blush. I feel so amazing.
The period ends and Daniel walks right next to me in the hall.
"Allyson. I think we have the same schedule! This is great! I'm so excited!" He says.
I'm so happy it's amazing. He actually likes talking to me!
The rest of the day drags. Just the occasional girls staring whispering when Daniel walks close to me in the halls.
When the day is finally over Daniel walks me to his car and drives me to his house.
His house is so nice and no one is home. At first it scares me but Daniel is a great kid so I know he would never do anything to hurt me.
After small talk and a snack we walk up to his room and begin working on the paper. The paper is on Romeo and Juliet.
Daniel seems bored out of his mind.
"Can we like act this scene out or something? " Daniel asks.
"Sure." I say guessing.
We play the entire scene out. Then it's a kissing scene.
I freeze.
But Daniel doesn't. He comes in and kisses me hard and long.
I smile from ear to ear and so does he.
What an amazing first day.
