A couple weeks ago you entered a contest to win a date with Daniel Seavey. You knew you weren't gonna win because the whole country entered. But you just kept praying you would get a phone call from him soon.
The next day, while you are walking home from school, your phone rings. You pick it up not knowing who is on the other line.
"Hello is this (y/n)?"
"Yes. Who is this?"
"This is Daniel Seavey. Im calling you to congratulate and tell you that you won my contest!"
You're speechless. No one is talking. It's completely silent.
"Are you there?" Daniel asks.
"Yeah just a little bit shocked." You answered.
"Aww you are so cute. I will have my manager emil you the details to the email you entered with. Looking forward to meeting you!"
"Thank you so much. I love you" you blurt out
"I love you too" he replies. Then the line goes dead.
You cant stop smiling as you run home to tell everyone the good news.
"MOM DAD I WON THE DATE WITH DANIEL!" You scream with tears in your eyes. No one seems to care.
A couple weeks later. Its time. Your date is tomorrow night and you feel so anxious. You don't know what to wear what to say or even where you are going. You get into bed but cant seem to fall asleep. The nerves are finally hitting.
"Saturday April, 18 2015. Today I, (y/n), am going on a date with Daniel Seavey" you keep reminding yourself. You spend all day getting ready making sure your outfit hair and makeup is just right.
At about 5 o'clock a limo pulls up in front of your house. A man approaches your door looking to escort you out. You follow him out to the car and he opens the door. You see Daniel inside the limo, and it hits you. You start crying and you can't help it. It's a good thing you wore your waterproof mascara and eyeliner.
"Aww are you okay?" Daniel asks with a sweet smile on his face
"Yeah", you answer wiping away the tears, "it just hit me that I am here with you."
"I said it on the phone, you are too cute" he says with a smile while grabbing your hand. You never want him to let go. And surprisingly, he doesn't. He holds your hand tight all the way to the restaurant.
The limo pulls up in front of a nice hibachi restaurant. Daniel must have read your mind because you've been craving hibachi all week. The place wad called Mt. Fuji. You walk in get seated and the chef comes over. He does his cool tricks while you wait for your food. When he is done cooking you and Daniel have an amazing meal.
Once you finish dessert, you start feeling upset. Your date with Daniel is over. Its only been two hours and the night is done. Daniel grabs your coat and leads you back out to the limo.
As you guys are driving back you realize that it isn't the way towards your house.
"Where are we going? This isn't the way towards my house." you asked all confused.
"Surprise," Daniel answers, "I had a lot of fun so I if we could stay out longer and my manager contacted your parents and my parents and they said it was okay. So we are going to a really fun place."
"Where?" You ask.
"That's the next surprise."
A few minutes later the limo pulls into the parking lot of the ice rink. "Oh no," you think to yourself, "thank god you wore stockings under your dress"
"This probably isn't a good idea. I don't know how to skate." You confess.
"That's okay. That means I can hold your hand so you won't fall," he says while blushing.
You walk into the rink, go to the counter, grab your skates, and put them on. Once you finish tying them, you head on the ice. The moment you step foot on the ice you slip and fall. But Daniel is right behind you and catches you before you hit the ground.
The rest of the night you two laugh skate and have a great time.
When the night ends, Daniel grabs both of your hands and looks you in the eye.
"(Y/n), the reason I asked to come here with you was not only because I was having an amazing time but because as soon as you stepped out of your house I knew you were the prettiest girl I have ever seen. The whole night I've been trying to make you see me other than Daniel Seavey the singer. And right now I can tell you see me as more. I never thought I would fall so hard so fast, but I did. I've been asked if I would ever date a fan, and tonight I can finally say yes. I really like you and I hope you really like me too. But before you say anything I need to do one more thing,"
Right then Daniel pulls you close and kisses you. You don't fight it. There you are in the middle of the ice rink kissing the boy you never thought would notice you.
"I do Daniel. I really do like you"
He blushes and just pulls you in to a hug. You hug him back so tight and don't let go. You don't want to let go. You want to stay here in this moment forever.
