Insecure

You and Cructhie had been dating for a while and you feel insecure every time a moment happens between you to you always stop it. There had been a few times where he had try to take your shirt off and you always stop him. Of course he apologizes and you always tell him it wasn't his fault and that you just want to take your time. He understands always. 

Today you found youself staring at yourself in the mirror and hating everything about yourself. You don't have perfect shiny hair like the other girls you see walking the streets, you don't have the curvy figure instead you are just super muscular which you had been told wasn't lady like, and you don't have perfectly clear skin. You start to cry into your hands. 

"Y/n are you in here we all wanna head over to Ms.Medda's she is going to give us some dinner and y/n what's wrong?" Says Race

You cry harder and Race goes and gets Crutchie.

"Y/n what is wrong race said you was crying?" You run over to Crutchie and sob into his arms. He brings you over to a bed and has you sit in his lap with uyou facing him and you head burried in his neck.

"Y/n you gotta tell me what is wrong or else I can't help ya." 

"You deserve better than me." You mumble into his neck.

"What did you say?"

"You deserve better than me, I don't look like pretty goils, I am  muscular like a boy, I don't have shiny hair, and I have bad skin." You cry harder and Crutchie lifts your head and has you look at him. 

"Y/n you are beautiful I promise." "Can...can...I take your shirt off?" 

You look at him with tears in your eyes and nod. Crutchie takes off your shirt and all you are wearing now is pants socks and fabric around your bust to give you support. You felt very vunarble in front of this perfect boy. 

"Do you know what I see when I look at you like this?" You shake your head no.

"I see a goil who is strong and can fend on her own, i don't see the muscles I see a strong goil with strong body that can support her in a fight." "I see hair that is real and not fake like a doll." "I see skin that is healthy because you don't put crap all over it." 

You are crying very hard at this point and you hug your boyfriend. 

"Tha...tha..thank you." You say why trying to catch your breath. 

"Your welcome baby, if you ever feel like this again let me know don't hide it." 

"Okay I promise I will." You give Crutchie a kiss and he kisses back holding you in his arms. 

"Thank you for letting me see you like this and allowing me to help you." 

You blush and just nod as he rubs your back.

"You're welcome, thank you for being so patient with me." 

"Of course you're my goil I will always be patient with you." 

You guys continue to hug and cuddle when Crutchie realizes that you feel very vunrable dressed liked that in front of him. He grabs your shirt and helps you put it back on.

"Thank you." 

"You're welcome." He kisses your head and you both exit the room to go see what the other Newsies are doing.
