Shadow sits next Sonic on their porch, gazing up at the night sky whose stars are looking back down at him.
Years ago, Shadow would had felt alone when looking at the stars. Feeling as small compared to the big space.
But now, now he isn't alone. And he will always be togeheter with Sonic.
"I'm happy-..." Shadow says and made Sonic to snap out from his thoughts.
"Eh?" The blue hedgehog looks asking at him.
Shadow glances at him and places the hand on Sonic's, at the wooden porch.
"As long I will spend more days as this, I will be happy... Sitting next you and gazing up at the stars" he explains and looks back up at the night sky.
Sonic nods.
"Yeah-... And as long I can run, I'm happy... I love when you and I are racing..." he grins with a small blush.
The blue hedgehog loves staring at his husband. Shadow has always been handsome and mysterious in his eyes. Someone you couldn't stop looking at.
Maybe that's why Shadow is called, 'the ultimate lifeform'.
For, he is surely Mr.perfect.
Suddenly something stung Shadow's right cheek.
"Gah-..." Shadow flinches and slammed the hand on the cheek to kill the bug.
"What happened?" Sonic asks confused.
Shadow looks down at the palm with a weird looking bug.
"A bug stung me-..." he answers and shakes the hand a little next him, to get ride off the dead bug.
"Ouch-... That sucks..." Sonic says.
Shadow scoffs.
"Yeah-..." he says while getting a funny feeling in the body. Which isn't very funny actually. It's more as a weird feeling.
Shadow sighs.
"Maybe we should get inside? The risk is, there will soon be more mosquitoes or whatever that was..."
Sonic nods and is soon on the feet.
"Yeah!" He smiles and grabbed Shadow's arm where he starts pulling a slightly.
Shadow exhales smirking and starts standing up.
"You really aren't very patient-..." he chuckles and places an arm around Sonic's waist from behind.
Sonic chuckles.
"Well-... You know me... I'm always fast when it comes to everything" he says proudly while walking toward the front door to get inside.
Shadow grins and gives Sonic a side look.
"I know-... You are always the one who cums first..." he teases.
Sonic jolts.
"What-...No... Eh-..." the flushed hedgehog stutters with increased heartbeats. Yeah... There might be things he shouldn't be proud of when it comes to be swift.
Shadow laughs a short moment before he smiling looks at Sonic.
"Don't worry-... I'm taking that as you like what I'm doing in bed..." he tells him and leans toward him where he kisses Sonic's cheek.
"Y-yeah-..." Sonic chuckles nervously and enjoys the kiss.
"And yes-... You are good..." he adds with low voice.

The lights are out, and Sonic snores lightly next his husband.
Shadow grunts while moving around in the bed.
It feels as he has fever.
The sweat starts sticking on the sheet underneath him and makes the sheet to follow Shadow's every movements.
And the dreams are weird. Foggy, with a lot movements where toys and people are moving toward him with scary faces.
Soon Shadow gasps loudly and sits swiftly up with the sound of the heart pounding in the ears.
Sonic grunts surprised and starts blinking the eyes slowly opened.
"What's wrong Shadz?-... Did you have a nightmare?" He yawns and rubs the eyes with the half clenched hand.
Shadow looks confused toward him.
"Son-..." he starts asking confused since the silhouette doesn't look alike his boyfriend.
Sonic hums asking and turns the face against him.
"What?" He yawns.
Shadow wides the eyes when he recognized the person next him, as Mephiles!
The same person who tortured him for ages, long ago. The one who called himself, Shadow's partner. Boyfriend.
Shadow exhales with increased heartbeats while moving the hand slowly backward toward the pillow.
Sonic raises an eyebrow.
"What's wrong with you? Are you sick, Shad-..." the blue hedgehog starts asking and starts slowly to sit up.
Shadow snaps and yanked the pillow before straddling Sonic who gasps surprised.
"I WON'T LET YOU DESTROY MY LIFE AGAIN-....MEPHILES!!!" He yells angrily and presses the pillow hardly against 'Mephiles'' face.
"Mep-?..." Sonic jolts before grunting since his face got covered by the pillow.
Shadow pushes Sonic down toward the bed while pressing the pillow on his face.
The blue hedgehog lays down on the bed and feels how hard it starts to breath.
Sonic starts squirming and tries pushing the pillow away or taking Shadow's hands away.
But the ebony colored hedgehog is strong! And Sonic's tries to get free is clumsy and don't work.
In pure desperation Sonic tries kicking with his feet at Shadow, and he also tries scratch his arms.
The blue hedgehog tries saying Shadow's name and begging him to stop, but those words got disturbed 'cause of the pillow and came out as muffled noises.
Sonic's heart pounds loudly in the chest while the air he inhales is the same he exhales over and over again. The air is warm and toxic for his lungs. His head starts spinning around.
Soon he stops fighting back and lays completely still, except a few twitching movements of his body.
The heart rate decreased while he passed out.
