Eggman was in the middle of making the last preparations with a large device.
On the middle of the floor was a big circular platform with few metal pillars with the tops pointing a slightly down toward the platform.
The scientist was working on the control panel behind the glas monitor, few meters away from the platform.
Suddenly the large door opened.
"EGGMAN!" Shadow shouts and stomps angrily toward the startled man.
Eggman turns toward the hedgehog while standing upright.
"S-shadow-... What pleasure do I have for you showing up today?!" He swallows hardly and tries hiding the nervousness.
Shadow grunts with gritted teeth and yanks the collar of Eggman's red jacket. Pulling the man a slightly down toward him. Causing him to exhale shocked.
"Stop with the bullshit-... I know you were the one who sent that robot to stung me with poison!... And 'cause of you, I killed Sonic!" Shadow growls.
At first Eggman inhales sharply, and couldn't believe Shadow found out the truth. How he had set him up from the beginning.
Then Eggman smirks with a grunting laugh.
"Maybe I was the creator of that robot... But it wasn't I, who killed your dear Sonic... And remember-... You still owe me for the new body I gave him..."
The hedgehog narrows the eyes, and pulls him hardly toward him.
"FORGET ABOUT IT!!!-... I don't owe you a shit... If it wasn't 'Cause of you... I wouldn't had killed him in first place" he barks while the two robots; Decoe and Bocoe entered the room.
The yellow robot looks curiously toward them, while he and Bocoe walk closer them.
"Is everything alright Dr.Eggman?"
Eggman scoffs without paying any attention at the approaching robots.
"Maybe not-... But don't forget, Sonic still has the bomb inside him..." he starts reminding him and made Shadow to loosen the grip a slightly.
The two robots look confused at each others.
"...- If I don't get any child, then I will make the bomb inside Sonic to-..." he adds.
"What bomb?!" Bocoe interrupts and made Shadow and Eggman to jolt.
"Yeah?!-... You told us, you were only tricking Shadow.... And there wouldn't be any bomb...Right Bocoe?"
"That's right Decoe... That's exactly what Dr.Eggman told us"
Eggman wides the eyes.
"SHUT UP YOU IDIOTS!!!" He scolds them.
Shadow narrows the eyes at him and tightened the grip.
"Not only did you poisoned me so I would kill Sonic... You also lied about the BOMB!!!" He growls upset even though he is relieved for Sonic's sake.
The scientist starts cold sweating while stuttering with the palms toward Shadow.
"Calm down buddy-... I-..."
Shadow flinches and raises the other arm with a clenched fist. About to hit Eggman in the face.
"I'M NOT YOUR BUDDY!"
Eggman wides the eyes.
"WAIT!!!" He begs with the arms in front the face to protect himself.
"Let's make a deal!" He adds.
Shadow was about to punch him, when he shocked exhales and halted the punch in midair.
"WHAT?-... What deal?-... What are you even talking about?!... Do you really think you are in a position where you and I would deal?" He snorts, and lowered the fist.
Behind the arms, Eggman grins.
A grin he drops the second he starts lowering the arms.
"Well, think about it..." he starts saying.
Shadow raises an eyebrow.
Eggman shrugs.
"... Sonic and I have always been enemies... And you as the father to Sonic's children... Wouldn't want the children in any danger, right?"
The hedgehog stares in silence at him.
"... Of course not..." Shadow answers unsure. Not unsure of his decision to keep the children in safety. But unsure about what Eggman tries telling him.
Eggman nods.
"Of course you wouldn't... And therefore I have a suggestion... In exchange you are helping me to unloosen a screw in my defected device over there..." he nods toward the circular platform, where Shadow follows his eyes and looks curiously at it.
"...- I will leave Sonic and your children alone... From now on... What do you think about that?!"
The two robots look asking at Eggman.
"So?-... We won't fight anymore? And get some well deserved vacation?"The yellow robot asks.
Eggman nods.
"That's right!" He answers cheerfully.
Decoe and Bocoe look happily at each others, and couldn't believe their long days as Sonic's enemies, are finally over!
"YAY!" they burst out in pure happiness with the arms in the air.
