•Chapter 15

~Jennie~

I stir between the sheets of the place where I was, inhale the aroma that emanated and smelled too well. I open my eyes and realize where I am. I was in Lisa's room, in her bed, covering myself with her sheets.

A hint of a smile wants to appear on my face and at once I decide to get up. I arrange my hair in a slightly messy bun and a silhouette catches my eye.

I look towards the window and I observe Lisa's back, her arms supported by the railing of the terrace and looking I don't know to what extent.

I walk to where it is and when I open the balcony doors the cold creeps from my bare feet throughout my body making me bristle. I hug myself giving me warmth and immediately Lisa turns around looking me straight in the eyes. A smile appears on her lips and the brightness reaches her eyes. I smile back as I approach.

"Hello" let go in a whisper and hold out her hands for me to come closer to her "How was you sleep?"

I watch her for a few seconds, stunned. Her now disheveled hair fell on her forehead. her hazel eyes narrowed in the darkness of the night and her lips seemed rosier than usual.

"I slept well and comfortably. Thanks for taking me to bed" I say when I get out of my reverie.

She grins and shivers slightly from the blizzard.

"You slept all day, you're a sleepyhead" She says smiling and catches me in her arms that surprisingly has a good temperature. She leans against the railings of the terrace and we remain So.

"I needed to rest. I think the news of knowing everything about my mother and mine has left me like this." I confess.

"And it's not for less" she says and lightly caresses my hands, I feel how she sniffs my hair and growls lightly but audible.

"I thought, well I think I think I want to go back to mom, and meet my father. I can't stay with this unknown" I say a little lost.

"I think it's fine, but for now we can't take you out like this so..."

"iAlpha!" They shout on the other side of the door. Lisa let go of me and grabs my hands pulling me inside. She opens the door and there she meets Rosé.

"What happen?" she says quickly.

"They attack the southern wing of the pack and come straight here. We send women and children to the safe zone and your mother and sister are safe as well" she says quickly.

Lisa quickly throws on a black jacket and walks over to me.

"I need you to go with her. For whatever you want, do not separate from her." She says with desperation and a little fear in her eyes.

"Why do you have to go? Stay with me please" I had a bad feeling, it was common in me.

"I promise you that I will come back safe and sound. I just want you to go with her and not separate." She puts a blanket around my shoulders and Lisa takes my hands. "I'll be fine. I love you" kisses my forehead and disappears from my sight.

My heart was very, very fast and my head was pounding. I had a bad feeling, what if something happened to her? What if he was my stepfather again? No, it couldn't be.

"Come on moon please" says Rosé.

I nod and she leads me down some stairs. We go down for several minutes and found a metal door. She put in a strange code and the door opened.

There were several women and children there, I recognized Seulgi, Lisa's mother and Jisoo. The last two were talking very worried.

"Jennie, honey!" Exclaims Laura and comes straight to hug me. I had a long time without feeling that maternal affection and she transmitted it. "I was worried.."

"What's going on? Lisa left and from what little I understood the pack is being attacked." I bit my lip nervously and she looked at me trying to calm me down.

"Don't worry, we'll be fine here, Lisa will come back and you'll see that everything will be solved."

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jisoo and Rosé, she hugged her and then left a kiss on her forehead to leave.

She walks over here and grabs my hands.

"They'll be back."
