•Chapter 24

~Jennie~

I adjusted myself more to Lisa's body when I noticed that she was moving. I still didn't want to wake up, I was quite comfortable. I felt her caresses on my face, removing the hair from my face, giving small kisses along the beginning of my nose, reaching my cheekbones, and then continuing to my forehead.

"You tickle me," I murmured almost inaudibly against her chest.

"You were awake, and you let it continue." Defend.

"Well yes," I murmur again.

"Little one, I have to go. Today there are practices." She hugged my body, taking me on top of her.

I sat on top of her body, moving all my hair to one side, while she grabbed my waist.

"What if you don't go? "I proposed.

"I have to go... I swear that what I would like most would be to stay in bed with you all day, but that's not possible."

"Come on. I can do something to convince you." I approach her, leaving a kiss on her chest.

"If you continue like this, I won't leave today, so no temptations, miss." She lightly tickles my belly, making me writhe on top of her laughing.

"I love you" She says once she gets out of bed, leaving me lying there.

"The day you want to stay in bed all day, I won't give you the pleasure," I said out loud, feeling her hoarse laugh from the bathroom.

"Mom," I knocked on her door, entering the office.

"Hello baby, how are you, love? "She got up to greet me, kissing my face.

"Well then. I came to tell you the good news." My mother's eyes filled with joy. "We are already engaged." She jumped several times with happiness while screaming.

"I can't believe it! Well yes... but no." Happy jump. "I'm happy for you. You can see that you are perfect for each other."

I smile, "I know mother, and I hope that's how it is from her." I sit next to her.

"I know, I see it in your eyes, darling," she mentions happily, placing a hand on my cheek tenderly.
"I wanted to talk to you about something..." beginning "I... I have noticed changes in her." She looks at me confused. "It's nothing bad, mother, don't worry," she sighs. "I mean, not that smell from when I saw her for the first time, but a different one like If it were someone else's, do you know why it is?"

"Well, your father once told me that when..."

There is a knock on the door, and Rosé enters.

"I'm sorry if I interrupt anything, but the president of the South came to see those expansions in his territory and wants to see you right now."

"Okay, I'll go soon," Rosé leaves the room.

"We'll talk later, honey." I nod, and she leaves a kiss on my smiling forehead.

"We have everything ready, sir," my manager demands.

"Prepare the men," I say, loading all the silver bullets into the gun in my hands.

"You will be mine, Jennie... whether you want it or not," I murmured to myself in anger.
