You were always bickering to each other, causing everyone around you headache. And when you came across Geralt and Jaskier, you heard Jaskier motioning towards you sulking as Yennefer read something and muttering "look at those two, Geralt! They're like an old married couple, and I hate hearing them fighting all the time."
Geralt noticed you hearing them and nudged Jaskier, who then shut up. And that's when you realized it, or maybe confessed it to yourself - you were in love with Yennefer. You had buried yourself so deep in your hate and bitterness that you hadn't even realized it. You were in love with her. She had changed for the better with you.
She felt the same way about you - you had made her stronger, a fighter. You had trained with her, she had taken out her frustration against the world on you, she knew it was wrong but she just couldn't stop once she started. She looked at you when you looked away with a small smile dancing on her lips, and she knew it - you were the one who would make her happy. And you did in the end.
