I SAT IN THE LIVING room with my guitar on my lap just strumming. clay was out with his mom and sister. i just stayed home alone until clay was supposed to come over
i was in thought about how much i missed taylor. i hadn't talked to her in almost two weeks. and when we did talk it was an argument. i just wanted this to be resolved.
she was my best friend. she had been since freshman year when we sat next to each other in physics class with mr. ross, 'the dilf' as she called him. i just missed talking every day, having someone besides my mom to update about clay.
i needed her back in my life, some way.
i got up and set my guitar back on my couch as i went to my room to start getting ready for the day. if clay was coming over soon, i wanted to look a bit more presentable.
i first went to my closet. i picked out a red dress with black laced patterns. i went with black doc martens for shoes.

after changing i went into my bathroom to brush my hair and teeth, wash my face, and start on the fun stuff.
after doing all the classic stuff i started on my makeup. i did my classic face makeup with my normal mascara and small add ons of eyeshadow. but today i decided to add eyeliner for the fun of it.
as i finished my makeup i went to my kitchen to eat some cheerios and drink plenty of water for the day. as i stood at the island clay started calling me. i answered after swallowing
"hello?" i asked confused due to him never calling me
"hey baby" you could hear the smile in his voice
"what did you do?" i asked
"nothing, just missed you" he said
"missed ya too. you gonna come over?" i asked mixing the cheerios around in the bowl
"actually on my way right now" he spoke a little quieter making me smile
"well then i shall see you soon. i do have a meeting in 2 hours." i told him. "you can just chill in the living room"
"works for me" he said
"alright! how close are you?" i asked
"pulling into a parking spot right now"
"fuck, okay." i said. he just laughed.
"see ya in a minute princess" i blushed at his words.
"bye clay"
with that we hung up and i finished my cheerios. after i was done i put my bowl in the dishwasher and a knock was placed on my front door. i quickly walked over and opened it.
"clay" i whispered as i wrapped my arms around his neck.
"hey baby" he said in my ear picking me up and walking inside.
he closed the door behind him as i rested my head on his shoulder. he locked the door before walking over to the couch and sitting down with me on his lap.
he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in closer. i smiled into his neck. he kissed the side of my head.
"how is my pretty girl?" he asked
"better now that my pretty boy is here" i said sitting up
he smiled at me before looking down at my outfit. a smirk slowly formed on his face.
"i like this dress. this color looks really good on you" he spoke making me blush
"thank you" i said bringing my hands to his shoulders.
he smiled at me before letting go of my body and lifting his backwards hat up, fixing his hair, then placing the hat back down. i bit my whole bottom lip trying not to smile.
he laid his hands back on my thighs before squeezing them making me let out a sigh. i ran my hands up to his jaw before leaning down and connecting our lips.
he kissed me back as he played with the edge of my dress. he smiled into the kiss making me go crazy inside. he pulled back and bit my lip slightly when he did. he let it go.
i opened my eyes and looked at him to find him leaning back and just looking at me.
"not gonna lie," i started "you look so good right now"
