I WOKE UP THE NEXT morning at 11, more tired than i had ever been. i stretched and got my phone from my night stand and look at my notifications
clay! good morning beautiful, was wondering if you would like to go out to dinner tonight?

i got out of bed and went to my kitchen to cook up something quick before i headed into my meeting. i made toast and ate it quickly then made my way to the bathroom to shower
i took a quick shower, then dried myself off. i then blew my hair dry and went to my closet to pick out an outfit for my meeting online and to go get my nails done.

once i put my my dress on, i added light blue golf le fluer converse as my shoes with silver jewelry.
i then moved to my desk and open my computer and opened my email with the link to the meeting on zoom. i joined as it hit 11:55. no one was there yet so i got on my phone.
mira soon joined, the craig, then other managers and important people and stuff.
we talked about cities i was going, the venues i was playing, how much tickets would be, who would open for me, and more.
i was only going a us tour and having my close friends alix page open for me. i met in in california at a music camp when we got paired uo for a project.
after the meeting i grabbed my wallet, keys, and phone then made my way out of the apartment. i started my way to my favorite nail salon that i used to go to all the time.
it was a short drive, once i got there i went straight in and signed up for acrylics. they had me follow them. they sat me in a chair and i waiting to get my nails done.
i had picked out something cute but simple.

once she started working on my nails we made small talk. just about our days and lives. she was very sweet.
after she finished up with my nails i paid her along with a tip and made my way back to my car. it was a short trip but a nice one.
i got in my car i drove to mcdonald's to get a dr pepper. once i paid for that i made my way to my apartment.
on my drive my mom called me. i answered as soon as i could
"hello momma" i said
"hey sweetie. i have a solid question for you"
"what would it be?" i asked her
"so your brothers birthday is coming up. could you drive some of his friends up to the beach and back? they won't all fit in my car. there would only be two of them" she asked me
"totally! what day?" i asked
"saturday morning" she said. we talked some more about the drive that i was doing and i was glad to do it.
"what are you up to tonight?" my mom asked me as i walked into my apartment
"going on a fancy date with clay" i said. you could hear the smile in my voice
"good old clay-ster. your dad would have loved him, you know?"
"mom" was all i could say. she was right. my dad would have adored clay like no other
"i'm sorry. well i will let you go, have fun tonight." she said
"thank you momma. i love you" i said
"i love you too"
we hung up on each other. it was around 3:15 so i decided to get ready. i first had to pick out a dress. i decided to ask clay for help so i texted him.
