I GOT INTO MY CAR and instantly screamed. he asked for my new number, i gave it to him, and he sent me 8 ball. what a dumbass.
i smiled as i drove back to my apartment blasting taylor swift. i love taylor so much. when clay and i were in high school "our song" was king of my heart.
it was such a good song. i turned it on at a red light and sang every word until i got to my apartment complex.
i grabbed my bag, got out and went to my apartment. i walked in and saw my high school best friend taylor on my couch.
"you are home!" she cheered getting up.
"TAYLOR YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!" i yelled quickly.
"WHAT?" she gave me the same energy back
"i was at some random cafe and clay walked in. we then saw each other, he asked for my number, i gave it to him, and he texted me" i said all in one breath
"holy shit. finally! i need you all back together" she said being dead serious.
"i miss him so much" i groaned while falling onto the couch
"i know you do, that's why i support this"
"do you want to spend the night? we can go out to eat tonight" i asked taylor
"oh my god yes. i am so down" she said
we went into my room and started to get ready to take instagram photos. i let her borrow my clothes and such.
as i was getting ready clay texted me
clay! hey, i'm going to a party tonight with my friend george (the one from the cafe), was wondering if you wanted to be my plus one? he also needs one so feel free to bring taylor lmao :)
hazel! i love parties :)) you better be picking us up. also what time?
clay! i will pick you guys up at 8
hazel! see you then :)
clay! see ya :)
"taylor we are going to a party tonight!" i exclaimed
"how?" she asked confused. i just moved back, it's not like i knew anyone.
"clay and his friend george need plus ones" i said making her smirk
"so he is still thinking about you. if you guys don't hook up tonight i will be so upset" she said making me laugh
"that won't happen, i will be drunk. unlike some people, clay cares about true consent"
"ugh why can't i find a man like that?" taylor asked making me smile and roll my eyes
we went to my guest room which i had a back drop. we took instagram pictures and made it look super cute.

take an L loser
after posting on instagram we stayed in my house and lounged in my living room watching the princess bride.
i was on my phone texting my mom about seeing her and my brother for dinner on monday. today was friday, so i had time to decide if i wanted to or not.
"hazel it's almost 4, do you want to order food then start getting ready? i need to shower" she asked
"i have to shower to so that works for me" i spoke up before opening the doordash app on my phone
"what do you want to eat?" i asked
"how about chinese?" she questioned and i nodded before choosing our favorite chinese restaurant
we both put in our orders before i paid. i would be here in 30 minutes so i decided to take my shower.

after eating, both of us showering, and cleaning up a little bit, we were in my room getting ready.
taylor did her hair while i picked out an outfit. i tried on a fee different things asking for advice from tay, i finally found the perfect outfit.
"how about this?" i asked. she turned her head towards me and looked at me in shock

i decided on black converse then moved to do my hair and makeup in my connecting bathroom while taylor finished getting ready in my room.
