backstory!
hazel and clay were high school sweethearts. falling in love in geometry class in 10th grade, they became best friends. loving every moment they spent together. going to all the school dances together, until junior prom clay asked hazel to be his girlfriend first. she and he were so happy for their own relationship. all clay did was game and all hazel did was write music. finally after graduation, hazel's plans were to move to california to be with more of her family and actually get somewhere with her music. this led to clay and her breaking up. after that break up, they never talked again. until now, hazel moved back down to flordia after making it somewhere with her music. she wanted to be back, close to her parents. neither clay nor hazel have dated anyone since each other. they were still in love.
