Mai sat still and let the medic do what he needed.
He applied several ointments that numbed the pain and then wrapped up her Minor wounds.

Mai left ready to meet back up with Jeanest and started walking to her room but stopped when she smelled caramel.
"Did you need something?"
She asked turning to the blonde boy following her.

"No, but you need to learn to stop being such a teacher's pet."
He growled shoving her.

She rolled her eyes.
"Just because I'm not acting immature like you doesn't mean I'm a "teachers pet" Bakugou."
She said turning.

"Stop acting like your some perfect angel!"
Bakugou said, his volume increasing.
He was sick of this girl, sick of the scared little girl from five years ago doing better than him.

Mai turned slowly.
"What did you call me?"
She asked trying to keep calm.

"Angel."
He hissed.
Before he could think she shoved him against the wall.
Her glowing red eyes glaring at him.

"Don't You Ever Call Me That."
She said slowly, her now red eyes wide.

"Did I strike a nerve... Angel?"
The words mockingly rolled off his tongue.
He grabbed her wrists as she went to hit him.

"Maybe, but that that was the point wasn't it?"
She pushed him.
"You're nothing but a goddamn bully Bakugou!"
She pulled her hands out of his grasp and walked away quickly, wiping a few small tears from her face.

The past few days weren't difficult for Mai.
Bakugou either avoided her or screamed at her, and the training was easy.

Mai rolled out of bed and yawned.
She went to check the time but saw a message displayed on the screen of her phone.
She checked it but it was only a location sent by Midoriya.
She shrugged it off and simply replyed with a question mark.
That was until she went to see jeanest and saw the news.

Stain supposedly attacked three highschool students before being defeated by endeavor.
'Those mother fuckers-'
She ran back to her room and called Midoriya.
He didn't answer so she called again.
"H-hey Mai! I'm sorry about that text I-"
He answered the phone nervously.

"Midoriya... Where are you?"
She questioned.

"At um- my internship!"
Midoriya lied looking around his hospital room.

"Midoriya, last night three teenagers were attacked by stain.
Considering the fact you're the main character I know you were one of them."

"Oh- i- um..."

"Put Iida on the phone."
She demanded.

"Oh sure-"
There was some talking in the background.
"He's not here!"

"I'll get you an autograph from Best Jeanest if you're honest with me."
Mai promised the fanboy.

"Oh look! He's right here! Iida say hi to Mai!!"

"Midoriya! no I said- hello Mai!"

"Iida... I told you not to be an idiot... And what did you do?"
She asked slowly.

"I-I attacked a villain? B-by myself..."
He stuttered shamefully.

"Yes, and then you drug Midoriya and Todoroki with you as well."
She continued calmly like she was talking to a child.

"I'm sorry- how did you know Todoroki was here?"

"His father "rescued" you and I know he's interning with him."
Mai explained.
