Y/N's POV

My fathers celebratory business party was coming to an end. I was still outside at the bar. The barista had already left and said his goodbyes. I was alone and a little drunk to be completely honest so I'll probably ask Alfred for a ride. I don't want to stay at my fathers place tonight because I know he'll just try convincing me to live with him again and frankly I like my own place. I hate asking Alfred to do things for me even though he's technically my butler, I see him as a second father but I've never told him that.

I savor the last sip of my Martini that I had asked the barista to make before he left. I place the glass down and sigh as I know I have to head out before it gets too late. I get off my seat and stumble my way back inside.

As I walk in I see an all too focused Elizabeth wiping down tables with a cleaning rag. A small smile appears on my face. It's adorable how focused she is. I can't help but stare at the sight in front of me.

"Can I help you?" a teasing voice says.

I look up and meet her green eyes. Her lips grow into a small smirk.

I can't believe she just caught me staring. I'm such an idiot. She probably thinks I'm a perv, how great.

I clear my throat "Depends... How good is your stamina?" My eyes go wide. Did I seriously just say that. I really need to stop drinking.

She immediately starts laughing and bends down holding her stomach.

After a while she gets up and speaks.
"You are something else. How many drinks?" She asks while composing herself.

I furrow my brows in thought "maybe around eight? Im sorry that just came out, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable" I nervously say.

She puts up a hand and shakes her head. "It's okay trust me I've heard worse." She says offering a reassuring smile.

It makes me sad that she's heard worse. I don't know her that well but I know she definitely doesn't deserve that type of treatment.

"I'm sorry, you don't deserve that Elizabeth" I say while looking down.

"Hey.." she says softly trying to get me to look at her. I ignore her and continue looking down.

She hits me with her cleaning rag. Not aggressively but just to get my attention.

I look up meeting her soft gaze.

"I know I just met you but I know that you didn't mean it, I can tell that you're a good person y/n" she says sternly.

I bite the inside of my cheek. That last part brought back unwanted memories of my mother. She never thought I was good let alone a good person. I hate showing emotions so I just shove all those feelings down and nod at Elizabeth's words.

I think she took notice of my sudden behavior because she started rubbing the side of my arm.

"Also, please call me Lizzie" she says.

I smile "of course, Lizzie" I say.

She looks down and I know she's trying to hide her blushing.

I take off my blazer and put it behind a chair and I slowly roll up my sleeves.

I see Lizzie looking at me with furrowed brows.

"Relax, let me help you" I say as I take away her cleaning rag and begin wiping down the table.

"What are you doing?" she asks.

I shrug my shoulders and continue. "Two is better than one. I can help you finish faster" I say confidently.
