Y/N's POV
I wake up to someone aggressively shaking me. I lazily lift my head up a little too fast causing my hangover to kick in with a migraine. I groan at the feeling and slowly open my eyes. Only to find myself in an unfamiliar place on an unfamiliar couch. Panic starts to rise and I accidentally fall off the couch. Only to hear laughter from above.
"You're adorable" the brunette teases.
I blink a couple times to make sure I'm not dreaming or imagining things.
I rub my eyes "You're Scarlett's friend? Right?" I ask squinting my eyes to get a good look.
"That's me" Aubrey reaches out a hand, which I gladly take.
She lifts me up quickly causing me to stumble a bit towards her. She puts her hand on my stomach to adjust me.
"Careful there, you've had a rough night" she says while carefully sitting me back down on the couch.
I still have my clothes on so I'm just going to assume nothing bad happened. I still don't understand how I'm here or what I'm doing here.
"You were really drunk" Aubrey pans out.
I look at her confused.
"You tried calling this dude named Alfred but then you passed out. Can you not handle liquor or something?" Aubrey teases.
I scoff "I can handle my liquor" I say only to be met with a devilish smile from Aubrey.
She leans closer to me "If you could handle your liquor we wouldn't be in this dilemma, now would we?" She asks softly.
Her piercing brown eyes cause me to look down, avoiding any kind of eye contact. She gently places a hand on my chin making me face her.
"It's okay, I'm not judging. We all need to relax sometimes" she says.
I slowly nod as she keeps her hand on my chin.
"Now I need you to listen to what I have to say" she says in a quite authoritative tone.
I furrow my brows as to what she could possibly tell me.
"Scarlett is my friend and I will not allow her to get distracted by some child. She's starting her job tomorrow and she can't have any weight on her shoulders" she says.
I clench my jaw. I hate it when people treat me any less than an adult, I can handle myself. This was simply a mistake. I didn't even plan on getting drunk.
She sighs "I don't know how or why, but you have an affect on her and I can see it in her eyes. She's with Colin you do know that right? or is that just a turn on for you? women in relationships?" She says while smirking.
I release myself from her grasp "So you brought me to your house just to scold me like some sort of a child?" I say angrily.
She shakes her head "No, I brought you here because you passed out and I wasn't going to leave you alone with Scarlett. Definitely not after your little stunt in the bathroom" she says sternly.
That wasn't my stunt. That was all Scarlett's doing. She's the one who barged in while I was busy. Aubrey doesn't even know what she's talking about and why does she even care? Is she trying to play god or something?
"And who are you to make that decision Aubrey? I'm starting to think you have a god complex with the way you handle things. Is that a turn on for you? Being in control?" I say while stepping closer to her.
I continue stepping closer until her back hit the wall. I look down on her and her brown eyes look deep into my soul. She hitched her breath when I lowered myself to her ear.
