'We walked back to my house, since it's pretty close. "You look like a fucking moron." Jay laughed at Amber, who was hopping across the road. "Oh come on." Amber laughed, holding Jay's hand as they began hopping together. "Morons." I said as I was recording them. We made it home and were greeted by my brother. "Hey." We all said. "So is this a regular thing now?" He asked, raising his brow. "Yup." I smiled as we walked in. We immediately went to my bedroom where Jay jumped on my bed. I sat on the floor as I went on my phone. Suddenly I got a dm from a person that I didn't expect. Maddy.
"Hey, what's going on between you and the blonde chick on your insta?" The message read.
"Shit" I said.
"What's wrong?" Jay asked.
"Maddy messaged me."
"What."
"Who's Maddy?" Amber asked.
"I uh, She used to be my friend, then my girlfriend. But I sort of broke things off with her."
"Ex girlfriend? How long have you been dating?" Amber asked, sitting straight.
"About a year and a half, I broke up with her a year ago." I explained. Why does she look..pissed?"
"What did she message you?" Jay interrupted.
"Uh.." I showed them my phone.
"Why does she care?" Amber asked.
"How is that any of your business?" I responded, waiting for an answer but I didn't get one as soon as I thought I would. I closed the phone in annoyance. I thought the conversation stopped there but that's not what Amber had in mind. "Why'd you break up with her?" she asked. "She was such a bitch." I said, groaning. "The hatred I have towards her." Jay said.
