We made it to the next game, there were two buckets of water filled with. Oh shit. Water balloons great. "So uhm you get it don't ya?" The leader said sitting down on a rock. "Uh sure we just hit each other with it?" Amber asked confused as ever. "Sure let's go with that." The guy said as he let out a sigh. Me and Amber walked over to the other side as the guys prepare. "Go." The guy said plainly before sitting back down. It wasn't really a game you could win, it was fun though. We started throwing it at the others, laughter everywhere. "Oh fuck off." Amber laughed as Jay threw her with a balloon. She looked so happy and i've never seen this 'nice' side of her before. I smiled at her before throwing the balloon at Jay. The other guy seemed bored since he didn't really know any of us, so me and Amber decided to throw balloons at him at the same time. It got too much and he fell on the sand, we felt bad until he started laughing. He got up and started throwing some at us too. "Okay times up." The leader announced. "Ugh but this is actually fun." I said groaning. "Not my problem." He said getting up with a grunt. We all went and got our towels to dry ourselves off. "Fuck now i'm wet." Amber said obliviously. Jay tried to hold his laugh in but he couldn't. "Oh fuck off you know i didn't mean it that way." Amber said rolling her eyes with a smirk. We managed to grab all of our things and started walking. "Well shit." The leader muttered. "We played all the game but there's still like twenty minutes left." He explained. "Oh ask the teacher if we can go swim or some shit." I said to him. "Mk." He said before going towards a teacher. We waited patiently for him to come back and he did. "K the teacher said yeah so like go." He said groaning and sitting down. We all looked at each other excitingly as we ran to the beach. I saw Jay beautifully looking at the ocean and of course i had to do it. I gave him a little push as he fell in the water. Amber laughed at the guy before slowly getting inside with me. "Idiot." He muttered with a grin. I rolled my eyes as we got deeper into the water. "What if i just kind of drown myself." I said sarcastically. "Then fishes will go and eat you." Amber said back laughing. "Hm how would you know that?" I asked back with a smirk. "Shut the fuck up or i will be the one to drown you." She said in response. I laughed it off as i swam a bit more towards the deeper side and the others followed. We all swam for a bit, play fighting with each other. "Oh fuck you." Jay screamed at Amber as she hit him. "No don't fuck me." She said back slapping him. I could not stop laughing. "Okay guys uhm time to go." The leader yelled for us. "Ah fuck." I said before we started to swim back to the shore. We made it and saw a few people already cleaning off. We went and grabbed our things, drying ourselves off with a towel. We walked towards the bus together and after a few seconds we got in. We found a place in the back and me and Amber went to sit since we still had to sit with our buddies. We both had out towels wrapped around our legs as we sat down. I groaned before getting my phone out and so did Amber. The ride was very short since we arrived after five minutes. Everyone got out and the teacher said we can do what we wanted as long as we stayed in the hotel. I asked Jay if he wanted to hang at our place again and he agreed. Me and Amber walked silently to our room. "I'm gonna take a shower." Amber said groaning. "Okay Jay is coming over by the way." I let her know. She nodded before heading into the shower.

I got into the shower and looked in the mirror for a little bit. Why am i suddenly becoming.. friends with them? I mean it's the happiest i've been hanging out with friends in a while. I've never had this much fun with my 'squad' actually. It's always been fake laughter. Shit i even forgot about Luke. He's gonna be so mad. I brushed the feeling off as i splashed my face with water. I took my bathing suit of and head in the shower. Letting the cold water splash on my warm skin. After a few minutes i had finished and got out of the shower. Fuck thank god i brought clothes with me. I just put on some jean shorts and a comfy sweater. I just did my mascara and let my hair down, my natural hair is a bit wavy and curly, i always straight it. I guess because i went to the beach it went back to natural but it looked fine. I walked out and i see Mavis look up to me as her eyes widen. "What did i forget pants?" I said confused. "No. Is that your natural hair?" She asked me. "Yeah." I answered her. "Oh it's pretty." She said genuine. "Oh uh thanks." I said awkwardly before sitting down on the bed. Did she mean it? I mean people always told me that i look better with straight, blonde hair. I brushed it off as i heard a knock on the door, Mavis walked towards the door and opened it while the brunette walked in. "Wow now who is she?" He asked with a smirk. I rolled my eyes in return as i opened my phone to see some messages from Luke. "I saw you hanging out with those fagg0ts again today." The message read. "Don't call them that." I answered him. Shit. Seen. "Whatever we are gonna hangout tonight." He texted back and i already knew what 'hanging out' ment by him. "No i'm busy." Is all i texted before closing my phone. I groaned before looking towards the other two. They were on their phone showing each other pictures while laughing. I never noticed how pretty Mavis is. I brushed my weird thinking off as i see the two staring at me. "You good?" The brunette asked me with genuine concern. "Yeah i'm fine." I said a bit blandly. "What? Are you too cool to hangout with us?" Jay asked me with a raised brow. "Oh shut up." I said going towards them. "Is the school planning something to do tonight?" Mavis asked. "No, tomorrow we also have a free day except nightime when they are hosting a little prom thing." Jay explained groaning. "A prom? Cool." I said with a little bit of excitement.
"Well not actually a prom, just they disguised it as that so people will come." "Let me guess, you'd love to be prom queen." Mavis said teasing me. "Oh fuck off." I said rolling my eyes at the two. We laughed for a little bit after that, Jay's stupid jokes followed by Mavis laughing. I liked their company, they made me feel comfortable? We were now on the floor, laughing as we went through our snapchat flashbacks. "And this is the time where me and Sophie went to the beach, but right after this picture she ended up falling in the water." I said laughing with them. Suddenly someone burst through the room, it was a teacher looking as confused as ever. "Oh they are just talking nothing else." She said. What the fuck is that supposed to mean? "What else would we be doing?" Mavis asked with a raised brow and she looked just as confused as i was. "Well two girls and one boy could be.. well dangerous." She said a bit embarrassed. We all got the hint as just brushed it off as she laughed. "Shit." Jay said looking at his watch. "Hm?" Mavis asked. "I have to go, the teacher ordered me to be in my dorm by eight." He said groaning. It's already eight? Well time does fly. "I'm gonna walk Jay okay?" Mavis asked me. "Yeah okay." I answered back calmly. He said his goodbyes to me before grabbing his stuff and heading out.

We were all laughing, making dumb jokes. It was fun and i felt really happy. The happiest i've been in a while.

A few minutes passed and i was chilling on my phone when i heard the door slightly open
