Amber rushed me to English class as she was holding onto my arm. We sat in the back which was odd since she normally sat at the front. "Good morning- Hey there's a duo I never thought I'd see." She said, looking towards us. "Enemies to friends I guess." Amber said as she stretched her arm out. Enemies to friends. Enemies to lovers? I smiled at myself. "Girl who are you giggling at?" Amber laughed. Ah shit. "Oh uh no one I'm just hungry." I said with an awkward thumbs up. "You giggle when you're hungry? Cute." Amber laughed which I just ignored. The teacher assigned some work and we began working. We both finished in time and because it's the first day back the teacher decided that we could play a quiz. "Fuck." Amber practically screamed as she got an answer wrong. "Amber, you know how I feel about cursing." The teacher warned her. "Yup, sorry." She apologized.
The class ended some time later as we got out to go to our next class. I had math with Jay. I sat next to him as I got out my papers. We were 15 minutes in when he spoke up again. "You know that night at the sleepover?" He asked with a grin, Shit. "Uh yeah?" I questioned. "I saw you two, all cutely cuddled." He said sarcastically. "Shut the fuck up, It was an accident." I said embarrassed. "Whatever you say blondie." He laughed.
School ended as we all got out of our last class together. "Yo May, you think I can maybe come over?" I asked. I didn't want to go back to my dads. "Yeah, Jay's also coming." She said. "That's fine with me." I said, grabbing my things. Before I left I texted my dad, letting him know I'm not gonna be home.
