CHAPTER 16.

TW: internalised homophobia ; discussion of sexual desires.

A war had begun.
And it wasn't pretty.

Ever since the tabasco incident, Tsukishima had decided that humiliating Yamaguchi was his new favorite hobby. Yamaguchi of course, didn't feel as enthusiastic about this new activity.
There had been several incidents.

One day for example, the two roommates went shopping together.
- « Hey Tadashi. »
- « Hm? »
- « Would you mind getting those payed for me ? I've just bumped into a friend, he wants to grab a bite with me. »
- « Sure, alright. Just pay me back later. »
- « I will. »

How could they possibly have known that these cds were pornographic movies?
As it turns out, Tsukishima didn't have any friend he had bumped into, and the entire thing was just a lie to see the look on Tadashi's face when the names of the cds appeared on the receipt. Suddenly, the flushed face of the cashier and the whistles of the guys behind them made a lot more sense.
Of course, Tsukishima didn't stop laughing about it until like a week later.

There was a lot of similar events, but discussing each of them would take a real while. You get the point.

And earlier today, something else happened. Something weird and new.

- « My new thing at the moment, is guy's hands. I'm completely obsessed ! »
- « So what, you're in the hand kink team now ? »

Kink ? Yamaguchi had never heard his friends talk about stuff like that, or at least tried to ignore it most of the time. But right now they were eating lunch and there was no way out of it.

- « I don't know just...those slender fingers make me all tingly. »
- « I completely get it. I'm completely head over heels for veins personally. »

Veins ? How could that be turn on to anyone ?

- « I'm crazy about collarbones lately as well ! »
- « Really, collarbones? »
- « Yeah, like when the bones are really defined... It's just so sexy. »

Yamaguchi or Moe didn't speak. And Yamaguchi wanted to keep it that way.

- « Oh and glasses too ! They're just so hot. »
- « Damn, Miki, you little perv' ! »
- « No but they make guys look so smart as well. See, I'm not all about looks. »

Tsukishima has glasses. Is it « hot » ? Well he is in himself hot, but was that part of the reason why ?

- « What about you Tadashi ? »
- « .... What ? »
- « What's something you find really hot in guys ? »

Oh.

- « Hum- I... I-.. hum I guess not... »
- « Damn, Tadashi, in your own little world again aren't you ? My sweet, innocent, Tadashi. »

They weren't, really.
And in fact, they've had a lot more contact with hot guys (one hot guy in particular) in the past months than any of the girls here. Though they couldn't say that.

A little later, this conversation went on, in a more restricted circle.

- « Hey Tadashi. »
- « Oh hi Moe. »
- « So about earlier, I know you were probably uncomfortable in front of everyone but really, what's the sexiest thing about Tsukishima ? »
- « I- I don't... I.. »
They turned crimson, as usual.
- « Oh, so you weren't pretending then ! » Moe giggled.
- « I just... I don't know. »
- « Well you know, just between you and me... maybe you should start thinking about it. »
And then she winked discreetly before leaving them there.

It's not like Yamaguchi hadn't thought about it. In fact, they had thought, a lot, about their roommate's body. Far more than normally acceptable. But they just didn't focus on details. His body was like an unreachable entity that you could just think about and imagine in your dreams.
But in fact, they realised it, it wasn't. And Yamaguchi was one of the very few people who didn't have to see it like that. It wasn't a mysterious entity, it was their roommate's body. One they had all the time in the world to study the details of, and eventually, to explore - consensually, of course.
