Hello everyone, this is Jey speaking, author of Inevitable.
I have been gone for quite a while and apologise for that; I was very busy with school and facing HUGE writer's block, barely able to update my AO3 fanfic 'And if you aim for my heart go for blood' (NOT complete at all but still available if anyone's interested).
And yet here I am, on Wattpad once more. I've been feeling really good and productive lately as I am on vacation and I thought: why not come back to this fic for a bit ? Don't know how long the rush will last, but at least I'm back.
Couple of disclaimers :
1) Before thinking about updating Inevitable, I had to reread it all again, as I had basically forgotten my own fic. Just warning you that my style has changed quite a bit (for the better, I hope), and that my portrayal of Tsukishima and Yamaguchi is also going to be a bit different. I have just noticed a pattern in this work of making Yamaguchi a bit too shy and weak for my taste, and Tsukishima a bit too out of character and flirty. I will try to change some aspects while keeping them true to how they are in previous chapters. Let's just give them a bit of an upgrade, shall we ?
2) Another thing is that I haven't watched Haikyuu since 2021 - thus, the image I have of these characters is very much one I constructed in my head. Hope you don't mind !
3) Finally, just a heads up that this story is STILL inspired by the Shoujo manga LDK by Ayu Watanabe which means it reads more like little slice of life snippets than a romance whith a logical, planned evolution. There is progress obviously but I'm sure you get what I mean.
Anyway, thank you for bearing with me while I overexplain my fic once more. A new chapter will be published soon - maybe even today ;).
