The next morning, was quite a start. Ryan had the words spread faster than a wildfire that he and Jessica were now dating. Not many people cared, but enough people knew for Larry to know.
Like any new, young and madly-in-love couple (in university) would do, Jessica and Ryan started their day together, attended lectures together and practically stuck to each other all the time.
"This feels weird to me, being with you all the time."
"Yeah. I feel embarrassed." Ryan scoffed as he and Jessica took a seat far behind Jessica's usual.
"Will your friends be here?" Jessica asked as she scrolled through her phone, an attempt to ease her anxiety- all in vain.
"Do you not want them here?" Ryan smirked. He would never know what being someone with social anxiety is like.
"I like your friends as much as I like you. That is to say, negative infinity."
"Too bad. They are all here." Ryan winked at Jessica as all of his 'friends' took their seats next to Ryan. Jessica's anxiety only grew and she felt claustrophobic surrounded by all these people who had been anything but good to her. The class had started but none of these two teenagers could focus on the lesson.
"Why did you do that at first place? To Larry?"
"None of your business."
"If we are doing this, let's make it work properly."
"I said I wanted to know you. Not that I wanted to tell you about me."
"Well, then know me, perhaps."
"We don't force knowing people Jessica. That's not how you make friends."
"Yeah. Right."
The rest of the class went usually quiet for both of them. Luckily, Ryan's 'friends' never bothered to talk to, or about Jessica, at least in her presence.

"I have got stuff to do." Jessica stated to Ryan as she left with Kiana.
"Your girl doesn't seem much pleased with you I see." One of the boys joked making Ryan let out a little laugh. "I am not a good boyfriend apparently."
A few hours had passed and Ryan had been in the library all along. He could never mess up his grades, that was one thing he was most proud of, besides some other, skills, of his. It was only when the librarian made an announcement for the closing did Ryan finally packed to leave. He put his laptop in the bag as he felt a shadow looming over his head. A second passed and his heart sped up. He could sense who it was, without looking up at the uninvited person.
It was Larry.
"Come with me."
"No"
"Do not make me repeat myself. I don't want to mess up this library just because a stupid young lad is too arrogant for his own good."
Ryan gulped. "I do not wish to fight. I actually have my semester exams-"
Larry did not let Ryan finish. He dragged him by his collar all the way to the exit of the library. Good enough, it was late, so not many were present to witness the tension that these two displayed. But the ones who did witness, were too stunned to speak, not that you are allowed to, in the library.
"What do you need to-"
"You are dating Jessica?"
"Yes" Ryan answered as he freed his collar from Larry's grasp.
"Don't go near her."
"We are already dating."
"Break up with her."
"Because some random person tells me to? Hell no."
Larry smirked. "So I, am a random person now?"
"You always were."
Larry inched closer to Ryan, making him nervous.
"After what we did, I am no random person, not to you."
"You're sick."
Ryan walked away, as fast as he could and Larry followed.
"STOP. FOLLOWING. ME."
"Not until you agree to break up with Jessica."
"Fuck you."
Ryan had barely taken his car keys out of his pocket when he was made to face Larry again. Only this time, no words were exchanged, rather, a punch landed straight on Larry's face, pushing him to the ground.
"YOU BASTARD!"
Larry got up and pushed Ryan to the ground, punching him again and again till he stopped fighting back. Ryan lay on the ground for a while before getting back up. He had a few cuts on his lips and no other visible injuries. Larry looked at him, observing his face as he gently traced a finger along the curves of Ryan's face leading all the way to his lips. They were deep red, naturally, perhaps. He leaned in, closer and closer, till their lips were almost touching. At this point, Ryan wasn't thinking straight anymore. He felt drawn more and more, to this scent, to this person who made him lose all his senses. Larry placed his lips on Ryan's, making him hiss in pain. It only lasted for a while, all pain gone as Larry licked and sucked on his lips. In an unrealized moment, Ryan found himself kissing Larry back. Time had stopped for these two, as their hands continued to roam on each other's body. Moaning and groaning, they could not see or feel anything but each other. Larry undid a few buttons of Ryan's shirt and kept kissing him on all the sweet spots one could probably have. He went lower-
"RYAN!?"
It was Jessica.
