The following day, Melody went to her first class of her last semester. It was the first time she set foot on the Campus since her parent's death. Being there with her colleagues brought her comfort. She felt that her life was gaining some normalcy after the tragedy. Despite the bad weather, she felt happy.

Even listening to her boring teacher seemed captivating. She stayed in the library to make one of the many essays the teachers had assigned to the students.

The hours passed flying since she was too absorbed in the research.

Again, she felt some presence behind her but when she turned around, like the first time, she was alone. That feeling was so strange. She was not scared. In fact, Mel felt secure, comfortable even.

Could it be my parents?

No.

Somehow, she knew that whatever it was, or who it was, were not them.

Airio looked at what Melody was studying. Why did she like that? Learn the theories of great men, philosophers that had died long ago.

The philosophers... each one of them, observing the world; the people and even the animals from different perspectives.

It was fascinating to see her so focus on the others' thoughts, others that no longer walked on Earth. Curiosity made him look at the name of the death man. Sigmund Freud. He vowed to pay a visit to the soul in his world. He wanted to know more about the man that made her waste some time of her day studying. He almost felt jealousy of the soul.

Again, she looked around like she knew he was there. God, that woman was really something special... Could she be a witch? He didn't know if they really existed, but he thought that everything was possible.

She turned again to her books and continued taking notes.

When she looked at the time, it was already four. She grabbed her things and went home to dress herself to go to work.

When she got up and left the library, he was about to follow her, but felt his friend trying to connect with him.

He opened his mind to Zarak.

"What?"

"Uou Airio!! You are in a good mood hum?"

"Tell me already."

"I need you to meet me at my house. It's important."

"Ok. I will be right there."

Airio got back to his world appearing at Zarak's home.

"Good to see you. Look... I asked Natika to go out with me."

"What?!? You called me just to say that?!?" Airio asked indignanted.

"Were you busy with someone special?" Zarak teased him.

His silence confirmed it. Zarak's eyes narrowed.

"Uou!! Who is the lucky girl? Is from our generation? Is she a soul?"

"Shut up. There is no she. I was just busy. So tell me about your love life."

His attempt to convince his friend that there was no one, failed but Zarak decided to not push Airio more into the subject.

"Well at first she asked me why I wanted to go out with her. You know that woman... she is tough. So I told her that she had caught my eye."

"You are so lame..." Airio smiled at his friend.

"That's a second one that I see in two days! Nice improvement!"

Airio expression didn't changed.

"I guess. So did she buy that crap?"

"Oh Yeah! Of course! She agreed to go out for one date and maybe she will give me a second one."

"So are you planning your first date with her?" Airio was amused with this whole situation. Zarak had never been interested in someone like in that moment.

"Hell no!! I'm planning the second date. She will want to continue to see me after our first one!!" Zarak exclaimed with confidence.

"You are so full of yourself..." Airio said shaking his head.

They talked more about Zarak's plan of a date and about their assignment the following week.

Mel had to be at the restaurant at six so, she took a quick shower and headed to the restaurant immediately after.

The owner had given her two weeks off, to rest an grieve.

That night, like always, Alain Ducasse was completely full, and she rushed from table to table, taking orders and giving the delicious food to the hungry and rich costumers.

When Mel arrived home, she went directly to bed. The exhaustion took over her and she fell asleep quickly.
