Three knocks sounded from Allison's bedroom door, waking her up. She ignored it at first but then she heard his voice.

"Allison? Are you awake?" James asks on the other side from her door.

Allison turns around in her bed to read her clock. It's 9 am. She gets out of bed and opens her door. James was wearing a white t-shirt and boxers, his hair was still wet from taking a shower.

"Good morning James." Allison says nicely while she yawns and rubs her eyes.

"Did I wake you up?" He asks in panic.

"No, it's fine. Do you need something?" She asks while fixing her hair.

Allison's face was beautiful. Even without all of the eyeliner, lipstick and mascara she had on yesterday. Just her bare face and her cute look in her eyes made James' breath halt in his throat.

"I made some breakfast.. if you have time?" James asks nervously.

"Oh can I expect this everyday now, you cooking for me?" Allison asks excitedly.

James rolls his eyes by her reaction and walks back to the kitchen. Allison quickly made a ponytail in her hair and followed him to the kitchen. She could already smell the smell of eggs and bacon.

"Smells good." Allison admits while she sit down on one of the chairs around the dining table.

"I hope you like it." James whispers quietly but just loud enough so Allison could hear him.

James watched Allison as she started to dig into the food, her mouth chewing quietly and swallowing. A smile flashed upon her lips as her eyes met his.

"It's delicious! You are really an amazing cook." Allison admits while taking her glass with fruit juice.

"Thank you." James smiles, feeling an unfamiliar feeling in his chest. But it is quickly replaced with worry as he remembers that Allison's meeting is today with Stark and Fury.

"What's on your mind James?" Allison asks as she feels the change in his behavior.

James eyes snap to hers, both helding a strong eye contact. He hated how she could read his mind like an open book.

"Your meeting is today." It wasn't really a question.

"It is." Allison confirms, stabbing her fork into the last piece of egg that was on her plate.

"Are you going back home after that?" James asks nervously.

"Yes, I need to meet up with my collaborator. She took over all my patients for this week so I could focus completely on you." Allison explains as she places her empty plate into the sink.
