"You have to stop the car!" Steve screams as he keeps riding next to me and I give him a confused look. I thought they were helping me so why are they trying to let me stop right now?
"When Tony fixed Allison's car he put a tracker into it. He knows exactly where we are right now." Steve explains and I directly put my feet on the brake making the car come to a stop.
Steve also stops his car and I quickly jump into the backseat, leaving Allison's car behind. "Why the fuck did Stark do that?" I ask through gritted teeth.
Steve starts driving again and Wanda turns her head towards me. "Since what happened in her apartment Tony wanted to make sure she was safe. But you know him, he always does it the wrong way." She explains and I nod my head.
Wanda turns back around but I stop her. "We barely know each other.. Why are you helping me?" I ask curious. Wanda and I never went on missions together or never spoke to each other so I am surprised that out of all the Avengers she is the one here with us in the car.
She gives me a small smile before she replies. "I know Allison.. we kept contact after the party. It's nice to be friends and to talk with a normal human being, I bet you understand that." Wanda explains and I return the small smile before she turns around.
Allison didn't told me about Wanda but I am happy she bounded with someone. I know she is always busy with her work but she also deserves a friend where she can vent sometimes or make fun with when she needs a break. Even though I don't know Wanda well, in a way I am happy it is her because the fact that she is here to help me means that their friendship is real and meaningful.
After one hour we finally arrived at the Hudson River. There is no single boat at the port making clear that Kevin's theory was probably right and that he gave us the right location. Steve is letting a drone down into the water to see if there is any submarine. After a few minutes he stops the drone alerting us that he found something.
"The submarine is just out of the port." Steve informs us pointing to the exact place to make it clear for Wanda. Wanda looks really focused on the screen of the drone and the water before she goes in position.
"Ready?" She asks, looking between the both of us. Steve nods as he takes his shield tight into his hand and I also nod loading my guns. That's all Wanda needs to get started. She uses her powers and starts lifting up the submarine from underwater doing special movements with her hands.
First I thought it wasn't working and too heavy for her to lift but after a few minutes we finally saw the top of the submarine. When I look back at Wanda, her whole upper body is curved backwards making me wonder how her back is not breaking. When the submarine is half above the water we hear their alarm go off. The top of the submarine opens causing me and Steve to go into fight modus but Wanda closes it with her powers hitting someone's head.
