After too much time in the inky black void of the abyss, Ivory, with the help of one of the most powerful gods, finds herself on Hermitcraft where she finds her first ever human friends. Her new closest friend, Grian, takes her to the world of MCC a...
"So can you, like, give us a run down on the other teams?” Ivory asked, quietly playing with the grass she was lying in, an orange flower crown made by Scott adorned on her head.
The team of Ivory, Scott, Grian and Dream were lying on one of the many flower patches that were placed over the MCC lobby server. The specific patch they were lying in had orange roses that towered over them with lush green grass contrasting their vibrant, sunset glow.
The team, so far, had been getting on really well and had practiced all the games on the practice server. The chemistry and communication skills between them had also risen significantly over the last few days alongside Myth’s skills and knowledge of the games.
Scott began explaining:
“Yep! So basically the run-down on the teams are:
Red Rabbits: Tommy, Wilbur, Philza, Ranboo.
This is a really strong team with them all being pretty good at pvp and I’d say top three or top four in placement. Ranboo is fairly new to the event however he absolutely popped off in his first event while the others are all MCC veterans. All round, great team chemistry and certainly a worthy opponent.
This team is another extremely strong team very balanced with the first one with Shubble being a veteran and Captain Puffy improving a lot over the past few events. The combination of TapL-Punz is also in there which is honestly a very powerful duo in pvp and in chemistry as well. All-in-all this is a powerful pvp team so we need to look out for them in the pvp games. Easily top half of the leaderboard and quite a bit of Dodgebolt potential.
Another incredibly strong team. Ponk is new to the event this time round but is backed-up with multiple long-time competitors. CaptainSparklez has a ‘curse’ (in quotation marks) where he can never get into Dodgebolt and has come third way too many times. I feel fairly confident that we can beat them. They are one of the stronger teams, not gonna lie, they have a high chance of getting into Dodgebolt but I don’t know really.
Lime Llamas: Quig, Krtzyy, Jack, Niki.
Again… a cracked team, Niki being a veteran, support player being in the event since way back with Jack being a bit of an up-and-comer. I feel he’s placed really well in his first event and then improved on that in the second event. They are alongside Quig, who is in the category of people on another level with Krtzyy who is very close to that level as well. This team is quite an all-rounded team with no real weak points and Sky Battle and Survival Games will be very favourable for the Quig-Krtzyy duo.
Green Guardians: Oli, RTGame, Sylvee, Sapnap.
This is one of the weaker teams however Sapnap is a very cracked player, getting first last event. The chemistry may be a little off as some of them haven’t really spoken to each other but Oli and RTGame are pretty good people so it won’t be that screwed. I do believe we can beat them though as they are a bottom half kinda team.
Cyan Creepers: Pearl, Preston, Spifey, Pete.
The teaming of Pete and Preston is a fairly cool collab backed with Spifey who did pretty well in his last event and Pearl who is consistently becoming a really great performer. Based on their past events, they are one of the stronger teams, probably a top half placement we’re looking at. Movement and team games will be a great factor for them so we will need to look out for them in those games.
Aqua Axolotls: AntFrost, Tubbo, Fundy, 5up.
This is quite an interesting team with two people who have played in quite a few events: Fundy and Tubbo teamed with two people who wanted to stay as a duo since their last, and first, event: 5up and AntFrost. Their team chemistry will be fine as they all play together anyway and know each other really well. Ace Race and Battle Box are their stronger games, so remember about them in those games.
Blue Bats: Vixella, James Turner, DrGluon, KryticZuez.
The Simmers, ahhh, this team is mostly for fun and is almost definitely gonna place last however they always aim for ninth as #notlast so don’t disrespect their skill. It is pretty cute how they always aim for ninth. I hope they do this time but with the other teams, I doubt it.
Purple Pandas: That's us!”
Ivory felt suddenly extremely self-aware, her mind talking to her in a torturing way.
Pandas… I’m on the Purple… pandas.
She closed her eyes tight shut, feeling light-headed, Scott’s voice echoing on in the background.
“Pink Parrots: Fruit, Bad…”
Myth’s focus completely zoned out as he thought of… her.
It’s just a team name, nothing to do with Sven.
“… SeePeeKay, Finnster.”
Ivory realised that she was being irrational at the thought of a team name representing her enemy and came back to the conversation, slightly rattled. Nobody seemed to take notice, however, and so she kept listening to what Scott was saying.
“…one of the stronger teams with a high rate of getting into Dodgebolt.
And that’s it!
Sorry if I just talked without basically taking any breaths for like five minutes.” Scott finished, smiling guiltily.
"Nah, it's fine. We needed to know about them all. You did a good job at making them pretty balanced, not gonna lie." Ivory complimented.
"Thanks, I put a lot of thought into them." Scott replied, his hands fiddling with another set of orange flowers and braiding them into a second flower crown for Grian.
“I can tell.” Grian replied, smiling as Scott gently placed the flower crown on his waffle-like hair cut.
They all smiled at each other, Ivory and Dream’s covered by their masks but Grian and Scott knew they were smiling.
Ivory's worries evaporated in that moment for a few seconds.
It felt good.
A/N: Sorry if this was just one big exposition chapter, I needed to get a few things setup. Also these teams are from one of the MCC’s and I may or may not have watched one of SeePeeKay’s team announcement videos for the info.
Also I am on holiday so I don’t have much schoolwork to do (same goes for the writer of Kopfkino as well, go check them out), which means one of two things:
1. I can write a load of chapters because I have the time.
Or…
2. I barely write anything because my motivation caves in so I spend my time basically locked in my room, drawing or endlessly watching YouTube.
