I wanna know what love is

Today was one of those days that Bucky was big. So you both went out to dinner after hanging out at the library. You had just gotten home and you could tell Bucky was tired and about to slip.

"Hey baby, it's ok go ahead. I'll be right here" He came over and hugged you, nuzzling his face into your neck. You held his head and rubbed his back and you could feel him relax.

"Mommy?" "Hey baby boy, look it's way past bedtime so let's go take a bath." He kept his head hidden in your neck so you just decided to pick him up and carry him.

"Mama I tiwed, no baff" you laughed at the sleepy baby. "You still need to take a bath baby. Don't worry I'll do it quickly"

Bucky fell asleep in the bath and so you had to carry him to your bedroom.

You laid him on the bed and got his power rangers pull-up and captain America onesie ( footie ).  In his sleep he put his thumb in his mouth and started sucking it.

'Awwwwww' you cooed and grabbed his pacifier. It was his favorite one, it had the words 'baby boy" on it.

You tucked him in and went to take your own shower. You grabbed your phone to play music while you washed off and did your nightly routine.

Bucky POV:

The last thing I remember was my mommy, Y/n, putting me in the bath. Now I'm laying in our bed in my pjs. I hear y/n in the shower.

She always listens to music and sings. I loved listening to her voice. It always sounded so pretty even if she didn't think so.

There was something different this time though. I thought I could hear another voice, a man's voice. He was singing along with her.

If I thought I'd been hurt before, nothing compared to the hurt I felt now.

The only happiness I ever had would now break me even more. I could have never thought that y/n would cheat on me. I couldn't even imagine her with another man.

I could only imagine me and her together, living our lives to the fullest, not worrying about our pasts, and just loving each other.

But I guess all good things I have, must leave. I walked over to the bathroom door and heard Y/n giggle at the man. My heart somehow broke even more. The million pieces were now a billion.

I slowly opened the door, trying to be quiet, but to no avail. Y/n's voice and the mans voice both went quiet. She peeked her head out of the curtain and saw me.

She wasn't shocked. She didn't have a look of guilt. No. She smirked. SHE SMIRKED AT ME!

I started to cry. "Why mommy? Why u do this to Bucky?" She and the unidentified man both laughed at me.

"Aww you're so pathetic. Did you really think k loved you? Did you really think I would take care of a man who acts like a baby? Hm?"

I was uncontrollably sobbing by now. How could she do this? "M- m- mommy stop i'! Is not funny!"

Y/n walked up to me and slapped me in the face. "Owieee"

"Oh shut up! Im not your mommy so stop calling me that! You need to learn how to grow up! No woman wants a man who cries everyday and acts like a baby! And a woman definitely doesn't want a weak, bottom bitch like you! Women only want strong, dominant men who don't cry."

She walked into the bedroom and I scrambled after her. "No pease mommy I can be that! I very strong and- and I can hold back my tears! I can do it just pease no leabe!"

Y/n scoffed and grabbed her stuff putting it into a bag. "Shut it you whiny baby! I'm leaving ok! I don't love you! I never did and I never will! I love him!" She pointed to the doorway and my heart dropped. "Sammy?"

"Yes I love Sam ok? Not you. Now we are leaving" I tried to run after her but she pushed me back and I fell onto the bed and passed out.

I woke up after a while and looked around with tear filled eyes. Was it a dream? A nightmare? I listened for any trace of  Y/n and heard nothing. No shower, no singing. Nothing.

I started to sob. My mommy, my love, my happiness, my best friend had left me. I was shaking and couldn't breathe, nor did I want to. I didn't want go do anything without Y/n.

I saw her sweater on the bed beside me and grabbed it. This was her favorite sweater, and she left it in her hurry to leave me. I snuggled the sweater and cried into it.

Y/n POV:
I was pissed. Angry. FUMING. HOW COULD HE THINK I WOULD STAY WITH HIM AFTER ALL THAT SHIT. HE DOESNT DESERVE TO HAVE SOMEONE LOVE HIM. HE'S A PIECE OF SHIT.

I slammed my phone down. How could my ex call me and accuse ME of cheating. AND THEN saying he "forgives me" and "would give me another chance"

HE CHEATED ON ME. AND MANIPULATED ME. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. Ughhhhhh I hate mennn.

I put my pajama pajamas pants and bucks hoodie on. I loved wearing his hoodies they were always warm and comfy. The arms were always too long and it always smelled like him.

I walked into our bedroom and saw a horrible sight. Bucky. He was bawling his eyes out uncontrollably. Choking on his tears and snuggling into my favorite sweater.

"Bucky? Baby? What's wrong?" He look d up at me in shock. "Mommy?" He said through his tears. "Baby what's wrong. What happened did you have a nightmare?"

He looked at me then looked around. He ran over to the closet and opened it, then the drawers. "Bucky?" He looked at me with a smile "It nightmare! No weal! Mommy stay!!! Mommy love Bucky?"

I looked at him in shock. "Yes baby, mommy loves Bucky soooo much. He doesn't even know."  I walked over to him and grabbed him in a hug. He hugged back and wouldn't let go so I carried him over to the bed and sat him in my lap.

"Ok now baby, ready to talk about your dream?" He looked up at me "was no dweamm mommy! Was nightmawe!"

"Of course baby, ready to tell me?" He missies his head and began his story.

Magical time skip🫦

After Bucky's story I couldn't believe it. I snuggled up to him and held him all night long. "Baby I could never leave you. Especially not for Sam, he's just my friend. You are my baby boy. You are my only one and I love you. I love you sooooo much" he cried again into my shoulder but this time of happiness.

"I lub u too mommy" he said while he blushed. He nuzzled his head into my shoulder. "I love you too bucky, love you so much."

"Ni ni mommy" "night night baby Buck"
