"Y/n, hurry up we gotta gooooo" I looked at through the mirror. "Ok, ok hold on I'm almost done."

"You aren't gonna be on stage now cmon" "alright I'm ready let's go." I grabbed my jacket and started heading towards the garage. "Oh shit."

"What now Sam" I looked back and he's patting his pockets "where the fuck is my wallet?!" I pointed to the counter right behind him "right there idiot now let's go"

We were on our way to an auction. Me and sam we're both caretakers looking for littles. And recently a new auction house had opened. Different nights held different auctions. This was the Little night.

Now big secret, being in the military doesn't make that much money. But when you're friends with Tony Stark you get a lot for the holidays.

"Valet is how much?! Oh hell no!" We're still cheap but who isn't.

"You ready Sam?" I look over and he's messing with his hands. "I don't know. I mean were avengers do we really have the time? Can we take care of them? You saw what happened with Riley. I couldn't-"

"Sam, we got this ok? No need to fret. Now let's go do this. No time to regret" we got out and I put my arm around his back. "Cmon bud"

"$100 entry fee. WHAT?! How do they get away with this!" "SHHH Sam! Be quiet there's a security guard right there." As we walked up to the door I got our money out and handed it to the bouncer. He directed us to an assistant who directed us to an empty booth that gave us full view of the stage. There were tablets for each of us and that was how we made our bets.

"Damn. I didn't know this place would be so fancy. Holy shit the tablets even got gameeesss!" They were probably for littles but I knew Sam was playing one. I looked around and saw the room wasn't full but it was a lot of people for 9 pm on a Wednesday.

A few minutes later a waiter came up to us and got our drink order. After a while the lights dimmed and the stage lights turned on. "Good evening everyone. Welcome to our littles night auction. We have a good lot for you today so get your bids ready"

"First we have-" the first few were all girls. They always went fast. The small, "virgins", who aren't usually littles. Then you get to your average littles. Most of which are girls. Me and Sam we both were looking for a little boy.

The first 8-10 littles had been sold to the highest bidder. And now it was getting interesting for us.

"Now we have Steven Grant Rogers, a 5"4, 90 lbs (162.56 cm, 40.8 kg) blond with bright blue eyes. He's very stubborn but he's got a great heart." The man put his arm around Steven and bent down to his height "any bidders?"

I looked over at Sam and it was as if he has heart eyes. He didn't even look at the screen as he bid for the boy. "OH I seee a bid in the back for our Steve" the boy tried to look around for his bidder but the lights were too bright and  you could hear a whine picked up by the mic.

"Any? Any? ALRIGHT SOLLDD. You can come pick little Stevie up when the auction is over."

The next few went by without any interest from me. But then this cute little stepped out. He wasn't your average little though.

"This is James Buchanan Barnes, a 6"5, 260 lbs (195 cm, 117.9 kg) brunette with the prettiest blue eyes in the US. A quiet guy with a little bit of an attitude. Now let's see our bids, this should be good Jamie"

As the bidding started, it was completely silent, no one wanted the Poor boy and tears welled up in his eye. I almost forgot to bid I was so mesmerized.

"I'm sorry Jamie, but maybe next year, but that's what we say every year."

Last minute I placed a bid. A small one but that was all that was needed. As the little was being taken off the stage the announcer halted.

"We have a bid!! Sold!! Jamie's got a home!!"

I'm thinking of started a new book as I've lost interest in my other right now. I'll either work on this for the summer and start back with The beginning and the end in the fall. So this would be a short book. Thoughts? 🫶🏻
