Little Buck one-shots

Chosen Pt 1

1st pov:
In the big and little world there are 3 major categories:
- caregiver
- neutral
-little
Most of the population is neutral with a chance of 50%. Both littles and caregivers have a 25% chance of being selected. The avengers were a mixture of categories
Tony- caregiver
Peter- little
Natasha- caregiver
Wanda- little
Bruce, Clint and fury were all neutrals along with Strange and Tchalla.
Sam was a caregiver along with me. After Riley's death though, I don't think Sam will have a little again. It look a lot out of him.

Every avenger has been selected except 4.
Thor and Loki are from Asgard, which doesn't have the selection. Anyone could guess that Thor was the caregiver and Loki a neutral. And the other two are Steve and Bucky, again caregiver and neutral. The selections started in the 60s along with a bunch of experiments that concluded the regression world was best.

It was law that every person, god, super soldier or not, needed to be selected. Today all 4 had their appointment. Me and sam would be the ones taking them.

Steve was first. He went in and 15 minutes later it was Thors turn. Loki and Bucky sat and waited for their turn. Steve was getting all jittery. He was excited just like Thor had been when he'd gone in.

20 minutes later it was Loki's turn. He went in with a smile on his face. "Huh, don't see that very often." Sam looked at me weird. "See what?"

"Loki smiling. He's excited." Thors booming voice came over "FRIENDS IM ECSTATIC! I LOVE MIDGUARDIAN TRADITIONS!"  Everyone laughed except Bucky. 

Looking over at him he looked nervous. No one but me seemed to notice since Steve and Thor were excitedly talking to Sam.

I quietly moved over to stand in front of him. "You ok hon? You look nervous" he looked up at me with glossy eyes. "Oh baby, what's wrong?"

Wrapping my arms around his shoulders I pushed his head into my chest and started raking my fingers through his hair.

"I'm.. I'm just nervous. What if I get something bad? I could never be someone's caregiver, I would just cause them pain. And no one wants a broken 6 ft little."

I grabbed his face which now has tears rolling down red cheeks. "Baby, you have nothing to worry about. Everyone knows you're gonna be a neutral. And if you're not you'd be an amazing caregiver." He shook his head and went back.

"James Barnes?" He looked up and I wiped his tears away. "It's gonna go great baby I promise. Don't be nervous"

"Can you go back with me? Please?"  "You know I can't baby, I'm sorry" I gave him one more hug.

He got up and trudged towards the nurse. I went back to my seat when he walked away.

"What was that?" Of course Steve questions it "he was nervous, I was helping him."

"By treating him like your little?" My head shot over to Sam "what?!"

"You can't just go around babying people and calling them pet names y/n"

"I.. you know I wasn't trying to it just happens. I'm a caregiver it's not my fault"

They all start laughing. "Why are you laughing?!"

"HAHAHA OH Y/N YOU FELL FOR IT AHHAHAHAH OH GOOD ONE SAMUEL"

"Oh screw you guys that wasn't funny" I start to walk off but Steve stops me "oh cmonnnn it was a joke, we gotta lighten the mood somehow. Don't we?"

He's right. I'm not saying that out loud. "Fine I'll sit"

10 minutes- nothing he's not done

15 minutes- the boys got hungry so they went to the cafe next door

30 minutes- the boys are back I've gotten my snack. I just can't eat. I'm too nervous. This shouldn't take so long. Most people are done in 10-15 minutes.

50. It's been 50 damn minutes. I'm done waiting. Where's Bucky.

"Excuse me do you know how much longer it's going to take? Where's James barnes?"

The nurse looked at her computer "it looks like he's about to walk through those doors"

I turn around and Bucky walks out. He looks as if he's been crying. "How'd it go?" Bucky looked up " I wanna go home"

"Do we not have to wait for our results?" Sam turned to Loki "no they'll send them to us by tomorrow."

"Let's go home."
