Taissa's P.O.V.

"Evan's new girlfriend is so perfect. God the way her hair flows and how skinny she is. I think I need to go on a diet or something" Noelle rambles on and on about Evan and his new "girl friend" but the only posted picture of us is when Evan and I where walking away, his hand around my waist pulling me closer to him as we walked away from the coffee shop last night.

"She kinda has your hair color Tai! We should google her and see where she is so we can meet them! I mean ya I know Evan is probably not even dating her but I mean come on they need to date she's better than Emma right?"

"Sure" I sigh into my phone half asleep.

"HE POSTED A PICTURE ON INSTAGRAM I'LL CALL YOU LATER I'LL DO SOMETHING LIKE COMMENT AND INVESTIAGE YOU GET SOME SLEEP BECAUSE WE ARE DOING A STAKE OUT TOMORROW MORNING AT 6 A.M. HE MIGHT BE IN TOWN!" Our conversations are almost always based on Evan since she's been obsessed since she first saw him on social media for me to watch some of his movies or something. Yes, we were adults, past the teenage years yet Noelle and I still act like we are the invicable teens on our way to adulthood one driving test at a time.

I roll my eyes and check the time, 12:00 in the morning and she's wide awake, starry eyed thinking that we would acutally meet Evan at 6 somewhere in our small town that almost nobody lives in. I hang up the phone and set it on my bedside table and pass out to the sound of the rain hitting my window and the police sirens that we always hear from the city. Got to love LA right?Evan's post on Instagram was of us, in fact, it was him at the same event we where but it was one of his solo pictures on the red carpet, he captioned it, "I felt somewhat fancy last night" with a winki emoji at the end of it. The next morning, I wake up with 15 missed calls from Noelle, and 25 texts in all caps reading, "WE WILL BE LAST MISSY GET YOU'RE ASS UP NOW!" I ignore the texts and calls, force myself up and out of bed and brush through my snarled rats nest, wash my face then put on some old shirt I found in my dresser with some leggins and sneakers and plan to go for a run or something to clear my mind from Evan's toxic kiss. I left my phone on it's charger praying the one time I leave the house with it I wouldn't get kidnapped, jumped, or got lost but I've lived in the same town for a few months I think I've got the swing on things. Mid way run, I end up at the coffee shop and since I never run and I thought I was seeing the light and collasping to the ground (a bit dramatic eh?) I plop myself onto the bench outside and take a breather for a good 5 minuets until the smell of the coffee lurs me inside where of course, Evan and Emma are seated by the window seat eating breakfast. "This was my place first" I mumble as I walk pass them to order a coffee to go.I can feel Evan's stare behind me but I try acting as normal as possible without turning around and snapping, I hear one of Emma's sly comments about my outfit, I bite my tounge as I wait inpacietnly for the worker to pour the coffee. "Can you hurry up? I have better things to do than wait here for you're slow ass" I basically scream as I tap my foot in the beat of the quite sound of the music in the background. "Sorry I'm new here" The worker apolgizes and hands me my coffee, the travel cup burning hot so when I grab it I immeditaltly pull back and breath as lound as I can to know I'm annoyed, "You had one job."I wipe the spilled coffee off my hands and leave without paying, I'm pretty much a rebel. "Hey babe I'll be back I have to go get something out of the car" Evan tells Emma once I leave out the back. Within seconds, Evan is 2 inches away from me catching his breath from running before I started walking back home, "Taissa we need to talk" He breaths. "I know I look gross but trust me I don't always look like this" I laugh trying to act funny or flirt a little more since I took notice on how hot Evan looks latley."What we are doing is wrong" He whisphers making sure nobody is around. "Who's idea was it? Who kissed me and when I tried stopping it you told me I was ruining the moment? Reality check Evan what you're doing is wrong." I raise my voice throughout the sentence to an annoyed whisper as well."I still like you though""What are we in Middle School?" I ask."Maybe we can get dinner tonight or something" He offers making me laugh, he basically just said what we where doing is wrong, but going out to eat in the public eye is the normal right? "Listen, I know I sound like a hypocrite but I really like you. I just can't blow off Emma's and I wedding when all of this crap is happening because I don't want anymore trouble. Can we take things a bit slower?" He asks. "All we did is kiss so how much slower can we take it?" I joke"How about this, I'll take you out, we will seem like friends but behind the scenes it's so much more right? When we aren't in the public eye it's me and you forever and always" I liked the forever and always part. The sad part is, Forever or always never lasts. "I'd like that" I smile. "God I want to kiss you right now-" Evan breaths out."Then do it" We both do that cliche, look in each others eyes and smile move but who doesn't like a good old cliche moment right? Before we can even say something, we hear storms of paparazzi comming at us. "Friends" I smile then walk back inside the coffee shop before they can bombared both Evan and I.After I come in, Evan runs inside like he just saw a zombie aplocypse or something, "Emma let's go" He demands."What? Why? We haven't even finished breakfast!"I laugh as he pracitcally pulls her out the back door, then after about a good five seconds, paps storms through the front door so I make a quick run for it out the back door. As much as I like Evan? Is it truly even worth it?
