Chapter 1: College Roommates

Katherine and her friends are finally waiting to see who their roommates are. "Who do you guys think you got?" Katherine asked the twins. " Most likely each other...again," Peter stated. "Well, why do you say it like it's a bad thing?" Katherine asks. "It's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just, it can get boring living in the same room together since practically birth," Brett explains while looking at his phone and texting someone. "Someone's in their own world." Katherine teases. Brett doesn't look up from his phone and pulls Katherine's hair.

"You're so mean," Katherine exclaimed. Brett rolls his eyes teasingly and finally puts his phone away. "Who was that anyway?" Katherine inquired. "Just the van that has all our belongings in it. Aunt Melody said that it was at her house. She also said we can crash there until our Move-In Day which won't be for another few days." Brett explains. "Finally, I get to go back to Melody's house and chill for a few days." Peter remarked while taking his schedule, key, and room number and the name of his roommate. After Peter got his, Katherine and Brett got theirs and the 3 of them waited until they got to Melody's house to look at them. 30 minutes later, they arrive at Melody's house and see their U-Haul van in the driveway. "Hey Pete, do you think Ellie Claire is here?" Brett asked Peter while getting out of the car. "Possibly, but if not, she'll probably be here around 6PM, because of cheer practice." Peter states while unloading their stuff they used during the last week of summer. When they go into the house, they are greeted by Melody. 20 minutes later after they put their suitcases in their rooms, the 3 of them sit down on the couch with the envelope that holds the name of their roommates." Okay guys, 3...2...1 Open." Katherine says as they open their envelopes. The 3 of them pull out two pieces of paper and a key. Peter and Brett stare at each other. Katherine just looks at her paper. "Who'd you get, Kat?" Peter inquired." You guys tell me first." Katherine stated. "We got each other." Brett says a little worried due to her expression. "Now, who'd you get?" Peter asked again. "A girl named Cassandra and...S-Stephanie." Kat says with her face full of worry. "Stephanie as in my ex-girlfriend Stephanie?" Peter requested. "No, Stephanie Tanner from Full House. Of Course, it's your ex-girlfriend Stephanie!" Katherine fumed. "Okay, Okay, I get it you're a little upset about the whole roommate thing, but who knows she might have changed over the summer. You never know." Peter says as he tries to calm her down. Katherine loses her tension. "You're right. Let's be optimistic. Perhaps, sharing a room with her could be fun." Katherine says with delight. "Yeah, if she doesn't k-" Brett gets cut off when Peter kicks his leg. Ellie Claire runs into the sitting room still in her cheer outfit. "You guys are back! How was L.A.?" Ellie Claire exclaims. "Well first off it's good to see you too and second, L.A. was great. We hung out with the twins, went to a bar, and went to the beach." Brett explains while getting up. "I'm about to grab something to drink. Do any of you want anything?" Brett asked the 3 of them. "No, I'm good." Ellie Claire states. "I want a Coke." Peter states. "I'll have water." Katherine says. A few hours later at 9PM, Peter, Brett, and Ellie Claire went to bed while Katherine stayed awake on her laptop, watching YouTube when there was a knock on the door. Melody wasn't opening the door, so Katherine decided to go downstairs and open the door. Katherine walks to the front door and opens it to an unexpected visitor.
