Tangled Earphones -An Alex Turner Fanfic-

As soon as I enter my flat I kick the shoes off my feet and let go of a big sigh. It has been very nice but I'm just too tired.
   My hand looses up and my bag falls onto the floor.
I try my best to compose myself so that I can go to the bathroom to wash my face, which I then proceed to do.
   The cold water splashes my face and temporarily wakes me up, when I'm done I grab the grey cloth and dry my face. I wipe off every single drop of water and walk out of the bathroom, flicking the light switch off.
   I get to my room and I tiredly change into something more comfortable to sleep in.
   My head hits my cheap pillow and as soon as it does I'm unconscious.

*Ring Ring*
I quietly groan in my sleep.
*ring ring*

-What the hell?'
   I finally wake up and quickly sit up in my bed.
My hair is all over my face and I desperately try to get it out of my eyes so that I can see.

I wait a couple seconds to try and listen to the ringing noise, and I discover that it's coming from my phone. It's and unknown number.
I debate picking up but choose to do so.

-Hello?' I say groggily.

-Hello! I'm sorry did I wake you? I'm the guy from yesterday.' The voice answers and I immediately wake up.

-No, no it's fine!' I reassure the man 'I never even got your name though?' I continue.

-Oh yeah that's right! I'm sorry that's rude of me.' The man continues. 'My name is Alexander Turner but please just call me Alex'.

-Alexander.. I like it!' I blurt out but quickly catch myself. 'My name is Y/N' I notice that Im smiling.

-That's a lovely name, It suits you. But to get to the point'. The man says and I get a bit nervous. 'I was wondering if we could meet up?' My smile grows bigger and I get butterflies in my stomach, reminding me of my teenage years (that honestly only were about seven years ago).

-Sure! Where and when sounds good to you?' I say and I feel a bit flustered.

-I was thinking in about an hour by the bus stop? Maybe we could catch the bus for the library!' He says a bit too fast, which makes the situation very much cuter.

-That sounds good to me, Well I'll see you in an hour then Alex!' I say.

-Yeah, See you soon Y/N.' He says and the hangs up.

The butterflies in my belly goes wild when he says my name and I need a couple seconds to think.

I then hurry and get ready for my little "date" With Alexander.
